"Nice and economical hotel in Gion "

A very economical and beautifully designed hotel in Gion district of Kyoto. Very close to kiyomizugojo bus stop and metro station. Within walking distance to Kiyomizudera (15 minutes) and other main attractions in Gion. Kamo river flows nearby. Their breakfast is pretty good for 2500 yen. Rooms are average size but very much enough for a single person to stay. The only con I could say is their 11 pm rule where if you come back to hotel after 11 pm, you should contact them via intercom to open the door. However, they are pretty quick to respond

This hotel was a great value for the room and breakfast buffet provided. I was concerned I might regret choosing it, over the Doubletree next door, but ended up being happy with the decision. Nice way to experience a variety of Japanese foods for breakfast, also. Not in a happening part of Kyoto, but convenient to the stations that take you there.

De kamers werden niet gepoetst tijdens ons verblijf. Er was erg veel lawaai van het verkeer. Het personeel was uitermate vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijtbuffet uitstekend.

The rooms are nice and spacious. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a great selection of food for breakfast. The hotel is beside the Keihan Main Line, making it very accessible.
