It’s an ideal place to stop overnight travelling from Scotland to the south of England. It is dog friendly and the staff are friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast! No complaints.

Staff were all very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. The room was spotlessly clean and there was a fabulous power shower. The toiletries were also superior. Best breakfast on our road trip so far - good selection and well cooked. For us, ideally placed as a halfway stop between Devon and Oban. Some lovely on the doorstep walks along the coast. Would definitely stay again.

Hmmm....can't really think of anything ... temp of water in the shower fluctuated a bit when others were using water ... but not seriously....

Clean room. Comfortable bed. Cooked breakfast was nice. Quiet during the night

Uncomfortable chair in bedroom.Served overcooked gammon at evening meal. Told the waitress, nobody got back to us with any comment. Long wait for dessert. Path to beer garden passed our room at windowsill level and there were noisy kids running back and forth
