Vertical Sky Suites

We just had the most amazing stay at this hotel, and we felt like part of the family thanks to their incredible staff! We chose the capsules over the domes because we were looking for a little adventure, and wow, did it exceed all our expectations! We checked out other capsules in the valley, but we picked this one for the stunning views and the fun activities. And boy, are we glad we made that choice! Our taxi picked us up in Ollantaytambo and drove us partway up the mountain. From there, we hopped on an ATV and zoomed up the rest of the way. When we finally reached the restaurant, the views took our breath away! The staff welcomed us with open arms, making us feel right at home. They treated us to a lovely meal and encouraged us to relax, so we spent the afternoon painting with watercolors while soaking in the beautiful sights of La Veronica. As night fell, we geared up for the next part of our adventure, and Paul guided us to our capsule. What an adventure it was! The capsule was clean, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed—a bathroom, a hot tub, and even a way to make tea. We slept so soundly that night! Waking up the next morning was magical! We found ourselves in one of the most stunning locations ever, with our sleek glass capsule perched on the edge of a cliff. The sunrise over the valley and glaciers was simply breathtaking—a moment to be so grateful for! We quickly decided to climb up to the platform above our capsule to get a better view of the stunning show Mother Nature was delivering. My friend got ready to soak in the hot tub, taking in the incredible panorama of La Veronica, the magnificent glacier in front of us. At 8 AM, Juan Carlos came to take us for breakfast. Sure, we had to hike a bit to reach the glass restaurant, but the delicious meal was totally worth it! After that, we set off on the adventure of a lifetime: the via Ferrata! It was one of the most exhilarating experiences we’ve ever had.

We absolutely loved our stay at the hotel! The only thing to keep in mind is that they might take a little time to respond to emails, so it’s probably best to give them a call or send a text. But honestly, everyone there is so friendly and helpful!

The view and the staff is amazing

As a luxury suits, is way too cheap finish everywhere, I asked the room preparation, and it was confirmed till we get there, called the reception 2 times for an extra heater, bc I was freezing, hot tub amazing, but, no hot water, with a good faith is warm, like wash your hand in it is amazing, but for tub? Especially you want to have a hot tub, after a long and cold day, I like to have hot as hot, and not take 40 minutes to filled the tub. Lights missing, duck tape cover the wire?? ANd rope hold the mirror?

My stay at the Vertical Sky was truly outstanding. From the very first moment starting with the well-arranged town pickup to their responsiveness and the genuine kindness woven into everything they do, I was left speechless. Juan Carlos was the true highlight of my stay, and Gabby as well! They made me feel completely at home.. I’ve never felt so comfortable and safe. Promised them that I will go back soon, and seriously, can't wait!

What a great experience! We were choosing between Vertical Sky Suites and another capsule hotel which was twice the cost and are glad we chose Vertical Sky Suites. They exceeded our expectations from the warmth of the staff and the excellent meals at the restaurant to the ultra-cool capsule suite. It was bigger than what we expected, and it was soooo nice to take a bath in the spa tub while looking out at the mountains. At night we hung out on the deck above the capsule and had amazing views of the stars. Also, they have regular flushing toilets inside the capsule, yay! It's an adventure getting to the capsule as you have a harness and are walking along a narrow path down to the capsule but it was great! I never felt unsafe. The views of the mountains and the valley are amazing. Better than the other hotel in my opinion.

The only minor thing was that opening the windows in the capsule takes a bit of muscle! You have to push it all the way open for it to stay open. However, it was so nice to even have windows to have fresh air.

From the moment we arrived, the experience was nothing short of outstanding. The staff, though small in number, were incredibly professional, courteous, and friendly - always ready with a smile and willing to go the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. The view from our capsule was absolutely breathtaking and added a special touch to each day. They managed to combine the charm of personalized service with extreme experience. highly recommended.

We loved our stay here. The sky at night was truly breathtaking, there is no other way to describe it. It was the most unique hotel stay of our lives. We stayed in a capsule room and it was surprising spacious and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. They staff were so helpful and friendly, they went out of their way to make sure we were safe and comfortable. If you are on the fence about booking this property I assure you that you will not be disappointed if you book a stay here. It's a once in a lifetime experience that everyone should have.

Our only issue with our stay was the cold. I mean, you are hanging off the side of a mountain in a glass house so we knew it would probably be cold at night but it was frigid. They do provide a space heater but it barley knocked the chill. Perhaps they could provide a bigger heater or a couple of heaters to help.

There was a miscommunication on my reservation and what Hotels.com gave me and my cousin and I showed up to the property with single room booked! The hotel was able to adjust our reservation to a double room at no charge - and this was completely my mistake not paying close enough attention at booking.... They were absolutely nothing but kind, caring, and very accommodating! The rooms have a bit of a walk, or some of them you repel into - and it can be a bit treacherous at night. The staff walked us to and from to ensure our safety and showed us the property and amazing views of the sky and Ollantaytambo. I can't want to come back again!

Beautiful and unique stay in Ollantaytambo! The views from this property are stunning and it was an amazing experience to sleep under the stars! Eddy was in communication with us prior to our stay and helped arrange transportation to and from the property. The staff was amazing and knowledgeable about Sacred Valley and taught us so much about the history of the area. We had our two daughters with us and they loved the unique experience! Alll of the food was great and they had vegetarian options for us. I would highly recommend staying at Vertical Sky for an adventurous and unforgettable experience!
