The hotel is in a good location and about 200m from the line 1 Metro and 400m from the Western gate of Lanzhou University. The hotel is very comfortable with all of the expected services. The breakfast is wide ranging and top quality - the coffee is very good. The Yun dinner which I did once was excellent. The welcome from staff was as expected.

The window had a minor defect and needs to be properly sealed as there is a whistle during high winds. Minor quibble - young staff were a bit too eager to remove food even though I hadn't finished
