Absolutely the best in town. Great location and hospitality.

Brand new hotel, very clean and modern. Service was very good.

Travellers should note that it is not actually in the “City Center” - it is a little way out but tourist sites can be easily accessed by taxi, about 20 mins away.

Location is convenient to the subway, so getting around the city is pretty easy. Staff was wonderful always helpful. The breakfast buffet is as good as it gets. Room was luxurious and definitely a good value overall. It would be my top choice for staying in Lanzhou again.

Room too hot. thermostat does not work. Only way to cool the room down is to turn the heating off and open the window. Room is 27C, outside is -7C. Massive thermal shock every time I enter and leave the hotel.

Stayed two nights in Hilton Lanzhou City Center and enjoyed very much the very good service, great food (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and excellent gym. The rooms are in general very relaxing however we stayed on one of the top floors and the temperature in the room could not be reduced (30 degrees end of Oct / end of Nov while outdoors rather cold already) - after one „sauna“ night we got another room which was at least cooler. The explanation given was not really making too much sense - as a master of fact this problem was well known to the management however as the hotel was fully booked that night they may not have too many options. Nevertheless a great hotel - English level of most of the staff might need to be improved if Hilton brand is supposed for international travelers as well …

The hotel is located in the central Lanzhou, adjacent to the great Yellow river. The interior (lobby) is well decorated and splendid. You can enjoy the great view of Yellow river and the mountains behind, as well as the splendid city view from your room. The room is spacious with clean facilities. I enjoyed the shampoo and soup bottles not fixed on the wall, of which i can easily use it while enjoying the bathtub. That is great, and is absurdly not easy to enjoy nowadays in other 5-star hotels. There were many choices and local cruises for the breakfast. The only drawback is that the air-con could not provide warming even though I set the temperature higher then the ambient temperature. It only provides cooling. This is a great and decent hotel you need to choose whenever you visit Lanzhou.
