Unfortunately we had a bad experience. We were moved three times due to lack of water, wardrobe door falling off, air conditioning not working properly the front door lock was broken. A shame because the place could be exceptional. Good for the RV people.

The property was quiet and everyone was nice. Bed was comfort and had plenty of towels. TV reception was not good and only got a couple of channels. The room did not have any water pressure so the water just trickled. We notified the security guard when we arrived late and he called maintenance but it was never fixed. The security guard was very helpful in checking in after hours. They have a shuttle for a few to the French Quarter but we took Lyft’s instead which worked great. Would stay again but hopefully with water pressure.

This hotel is nowhere near an 8.2. The Hyatt Regency is 8.4 and this is nowhere near that quality. The hotel is built from modular single wides and is old and tired. The reviews must be seeded from hotel management. The first clue is that it is not a 8.2 is that you have to pay each day to use the internet. The rooms are 12 ft x 12 ft with no windows. The doors have glass slats in them but the built in blinds would not open so the room was dark. There are no chairs so when you are in the room you have to lay on the bed. The floor is soft and spongy. It has vinyl planks but some of them were cracked. The bathroom floor had sections missing. There was no water pressure and the shower dripped out even though the shower head looked very nice. The toilet was cheap and had water running down the sides as it was not insulated. Someone put effort into painting and decorating the room but the mold along the doors and shower door took away from this effort We had supper in the restaurant and it was very good The location is heavy industrial but we felt safe there The road to the hotel is confusing as at one point you seem to come to a dead end but you continue through a lane over the railroad track. If you then see a mound of garbage on the side of the road you are on the right route. 25 minutes to the airport 15 minutes to the French Quarter Hotel shuttle to the French Quarter is $20 return per person and it runs from 10 until 4. I suggest that you take an Uber for $22 each

The room was clean. There is a decent restaurant at the property. I hated that there wasn't free wi-fi in the rooms. The area around the property is pretty sketchy, but the property is gated.

Reasonable expectations, needed more towel, the food and drinks were amazing at the restaurant, plenty of outlets for charging, mattress was uncomfortable, ubers were reasonably priced but the drivers were nervous enterinv the area at night, the abandoned mattresses and tires on the side street, the property was well kept, too cold for the pool or jaquzzi, the store needed more stock, we went to Walmart and bought groceries, please pit a microwave in every room no matter if its basic or an upgrade, overall great stay for the price
