Neat idea and nicely appointed

Nice quiet property in heart of historic district

I loved the Kinn Guesthouse! It looked modern and stylish, while having the quaint charm of being in an older building (you could tell by the high ceilings). The decor was sleek and updated, and you had most of the amenities you could ask for! If something was amiss, you could simply text the concierge group and they responded very quickly to your need. One thing to note: there are shared spaces on each floor so be aware of your volume at a certain point. Also, if you intend to bring items that need to be refrigerated, be sure to label your goods as, again, that space is shared.

The high level of electronic access required was kind of overwhelming for our group of 8. Would have helped if we all had been placed on the same floor since I made all 4 room reservations at the same time. Also valet parking is a challenge w/minimal staffing. Better off to self park right across the street for less $.

The property was clean and spacious and a convenient location to enjoy my first March Madness NCAA tourney in person! Near good food and a Crossfit gym, too!

There were no instructions on how to use the keypads. It took us 5 minutes to figure out that certain keys were necessary to make the code numbers work. The microwave was completely hidden and once found, difficult to operate. Coffee maker in common area was hit or miss; one brewed cup came out as water. Shower temperature was either scalding or cool. The description of the inn did not clearly specify that there was not a private parking lot I only found this out after calling to inquiry about availability for parking our large truck. The “customer service” is totally lacking. (The real person in the Inn was helpful but only bc we reached out w questions.) If I knew of all of these inconveniences, I would have never booked the stay. The experience absolutely did NOT match the inn’s attractive marketing.

Would not recommend until they work out all the issues with this new property. Water issues, thermostat issues, access to room issues, shared space poorly stocked vs what was communicated. This hotel does not have on site staff.

Gorgeous room, fabulous second floor lounge and light breakfast area. Very clean, modern. More technology than staff, which worked for us.
