Breakfree North Adelaide

Was very clean and the staff were great and easy to talk too

Went for breakfast in the restaurant connected to the hotel very scabby on the bacon was cooked good but one piece of bacon and two eggs and two piece of toast it’s not gonna fill the grown man

Hot water is erratic, dangerous!!!

Air Con was good. and the TV was great; good size. Balcony space with one chair outside and no room for another chair but still nice to sit outside for fresh air. Beds were quite comfy; and they did bring 2 extra pillows as requested. The room was spacious and plenty of room to stretch out. There was a microwave, knives/forks/spoons. Kettle, instant coffee sachets ( but we brought and used our own coffee and tea). 2x packs of biscuits were a thoughtful touch. They placed 2 bottles of water in our fridge. We liked the sparkling water on tap in reception. That was lovely :)

Check in: they weren't ready at 2pm check in time and said they would make contact by mobile when it was ready... by 3.15pm they still hadn't called. decided to walk over towards the general direction of the accommodation. Once there at 3.25pm, we popped inside to ask how much longer it would be until the room was ready... They told us the room was ready. We had been walking around waiting for their call; exhausted and jet lagged; and would have appreciated the call that as promised, for a needed quick refresh before commitments later that evening. It would have been nice if we could have checked in at 2pm as advertised. Also, as we were waiting to speak to reception about check in, another person who arrived after us, was summoned to the desk to be taken care of before us. a bit disconcerting. We were left with the impression that they had difficulty with staff making up the rooms. the dishes were rinsed but not washed. The sink obviously needed to be cleaned with caked in food particles which we wiped off after soaking it with boiling water from the kettle.. The microwave when we opened it to use, had a thick sticky globulous substance covering most of the microwave plate and obviously hadn't been looked at; let alone washed since previous guest. To their credit they did clean these up as soon as asked them. and replaced the unwashed dishes with clean ones. They will make up the room on demand and we only asked the first morning (of 4 night stay) when we noticed crumbs through the carpet on our bare feet. Overall the stay was okay... nothing more. Dont think we would stay there again though.

Had to ask for toilet paper upon arrival, balcony was dirty but not filthy
