We booked this holiday quite last minute as we had had a problem with a holiday we had originally booked so we hadn’t spent much time researching it and wasn’t really expecting anything too special. However we were pleasantly surprised, the hotel was really great and everything about it was a good standard. The room was very spacious, kept very clean and was well equipped. The staff throughout the hotel were excellent. Food was consistently good, especially the à la carte lunch service. All the drinks were of a great standard, with a choice of several nice wines. Pool area was very nice and peaceful. Our only slight criticism is that if you wanted to watch the evening entertainment you have to go across to the other hotel. This wasn’t so great, we didn’t really like the atmosphere over there so much, also as a couple of evenings were quite chilly that was the only place with an indoor bar. We have already booked to go back in January!

We had a fantastic time at the hotel. The staff were lovely and really helpful. The room was spotless. The restaurant has a lot of ambience and the food was consistently excellent. The gym was in need of some tlc, I know a lot of folk like to train on holiday so this is something that could be improved on. (I'm mad, I always get a pass to a local gym on holiday anyway..). The best part of the Royal Level was being able to totally relax by the pool without music being played. This is too rare these days, the other pool did have music but to have some peace on our time away was a real treat. We're returning next month!

De ruime kamer met groot terras. Alles zeer rustig Vlotte check-in en checkout. Mooi onderhouden tuinen. Alles zeer proper. Echt relaxen.

Geen warme borden bij het eten. Warm eten vaak te koud. Te veel vuile borden en glazen. We hebben van de hele week geen paella gezien aan het buffet. De bediening aan de bar kan vlotter.

From checking in to checking out, we were made extremely welcome. The hotel is spotlessly clean and very comfortable indeed. We have been to a number of all inclusive resorts over the last few years and we can say, with conviction, that the Barcelo Margarita stands out over and above any we have stayed at before. The impression of the hotel is that customer service is the number one priority. We would return to this hotel in a heartbeat!

Wow!! This has to be one of the best hotels we've stayed in. The food is outstanding, Grounds impeccably clean and so are the rooms. What makes it more special are the staff. They just can't do enough for you. We will definitely be back

It's a nice hotel for exploring Gran Canaria. We spent most of the time for trips visiting different attractions of the island and some time at the swimming pool at the hotel.

Royal Level supposed to give superior stay but it wasn’t. It did not seem any different to the normal part of the hotel and therefore a complete waste of money
