Waren für 2 Nächte in Positano. Waren in einem Zimmer im Untergeschoss (Kellergruft ohne Fenster) untergebracht worden. Luft war miefig, im Kleiderschrank war alles voller Schimmel. Überall waren Spinnen und Käfer. Die Ausstattung ist total in die Jahre gekommen und abgenutzt. Den Pool kann man nicht als Pool bezeichnen, da dieser total verwahrlost wurde. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht.

La posizione della Villa Tesoro è molto strategica, vicinissima alla fermata dell'autobus che ti porta al centro di Positano e con un panorama spettacolare. La vista dalla camera è davvero caratteristica e la stanza è confortevole. La piscina è poi un tocco di classe. Davvero una bella struttura e ben studiata. Ci siamo trovati molto bene!

View and pool were as advertized. Bed was large and comfy. Shower was excellent

Communication for self check in was confusing. I needed to contact the host by phone. He was very quick to respond though and clear when he answered.

After climbing all the steps to the top of Positano,over 1000 steps, reached in front of the Villa Tesoro property, we have called the property , who informed us that they have cancelled our booking, while in our app it was shown as still valid. We wasted 2 more hours (in the phone with booking.com) until we managed to find and book & check in to a different place (located on the other side of positano, a diferent hill=another few hundred steps away) Destroyed our dinner and evening plans

Perfect view on sea and pool.

The only decent thing was the view from the bedroom, was a lovely sea view… however

I booked this property with the filter of it having a swimming pool for my 30th birthday. To arrive and it have no swimming pool. I am sure the images are AI. I was told the pool opens next week. Hmm. There’s no pool there. Where they said there was a pool and the images show a “pool” do not exist- to me this is scam behaviour and tricking bookings. I then read the Google reviews as the booking.com ones don’t seem to express this. The Google reviews are diabolical which I should have read. I booked two nights but left after the first after feeling deeply let down and uncomfortable I didn’t dare use the appliances after reading reviews of being accused of breaking things. The shower door review was 2024 and it’s still not fixed as that was my room I was in and did not want to use this incase I was blamed.

Before booking this hotel, I strongly advise reconsidering. Although it was advertised as having a sea view, the room did not. Worse, after just one night, I woke up covered in red spots all over my body, experiencing intense itching. A visit to the hospital confirmed that these were caused by bedbugs. The room was infested, and in only one night, the bugs had spread to my body, luggage, and clothing. I hope this serves as a warning for anyone considering staying here.
