Estes Lake Lodge

I liked the location. It was close to the venue we were attending.

The room was freezing cold when we arrived. Before we arrived, I received a text stating the room was ready and we could pick up the packet in the office. You would think if they were expecting you, they would have the room at a comfortable temperature. Also, the bed was rock hard, and the pillows were flat which made for a very restless night. We got up extra early just to head home because we did not sleep well. Also, we did not see anyone that worked there upon checking in or out.

Place was very cute and cozy but the location was the best part.

Loved the views, the ambiance, the cleanliness, the staff! It was truly heaven.

The bed is very hard. I brought a mattress topper to help relieve the issue, but most don't go through this extensive resolution. No bathroom outlets was also an issue.

Great location with a nice view of the lake. Check in was very easy and ready early with a packet inside the office. The room had a simple cabin-like feel, which is all we needed. The kitchen was very nice to have, with a full oven/stovetop and a full sized refrigerator/freezer that allowed us to save money on meals and enjoy private meals. We would use this room again.

It could obviously use some updating, but that would raise the price and defeat the purpose. There is no a/c but honestly it wasn't needed with the cool nights. It isn't modern or fancy, so don't expect that. It's a simple cabin feel with a good kitchen. Great budget option.

The lodge worked great for our short trip to Estes - the views are great! We saw deer and elk nearby during our stay. The accommodations were sufficient and the hosts were thoughtful. The photos provided and accurate description.

Great, fun property. I felt like i was at camp!
