I would never stay on the bottom floor again. You could hear every time the person was walking. The person must have been up multiple times at night each time waking us up. Could not get the tv to work. We also killed multiple cockroaches. I have sent the hotel two messages about our stay with no response.

This lodge was absolutely charming, tucked right on the lake. And yes—the moose really do wander through the water just like in the photos. It felt magical to watch. The area is peaceful and quiet, with a rustic, cabin-like feel. The property had so many little touches we loved—you can curl up with a book in the hammock, grill right outside your room, or relax on the balcony overlooking the lake and mountains. The bed was comfortable, and everything felt welcoming and cozy.

It is a bit removed from the main Estes attractions, so keep in mind you’ll need to drive or take a long walk if you want to dine out, check out breweries, or visit bars. Uber is pretty limited here—we ended up taking it four times and always got the same driver!

The location to Estes Park was good and the staff was friendly.

The bed frame is steel and very uncomfortable. The metal bar supports dug into our backs not allowing for a comfortable sleep. The rooms are dated.

The location was great.

The pictures online was nothing like where we stayed. It was the most expensive place we stayed and the worst place we stayed. A bed and couch were in the kitchen. We walked past other units and the curtains were open. Those were the pictures I saw online! Ours was outdated and no where near as nice! I was so disappointed.
