"Value for ‘money so-so but excellent location"

Good- big bright room’ good location for walking to every thing, coffee maker in room. Good Tv and shower. Aloft is not economy but they scrimp on things like hangers. Body lotion etc’ There is no microwave in the room and since their food options are limited , and heavily overpriced( $18 for 6 chicken wings) bringing in leftovers to eat is difficult. There are no eating places within 10-15 minute walk. The most informed staff member was the XYZ bartender. I think they are understaffed and , though nice they are mostly clueless. The front desk does not have a map of the area and couldn’t give us any directions , suggestions, or insights. I sense they don’t live in Providence’. Most of the time we called or approched in person there was no one at reception. The biggest recommendation for this hotel is its walkability.

"Great hotel right downtown "

I had a really nice one-night stay here. It's adjacent to a river front park and I took a walk over the pedestrian bridge. Walkable to many places to eat. I would stay here again!
