A wonderful, clean historic location to stay. The staff was accommodating and friendly. Would definitely go back.

We had a lovely, one night stay at this charming hotel. It’s located in the heart of Lisbon, walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and view points. It is located on a busy street so dropping off/picking up can be tricky but totally manageable. Checking in was easy and pleasant. We were upgraded due to Amex platinum upgrades. The breakfast was delicious with many choices on the menu. Dinner was also delicious and the wine pairing was excellent. The atrium setting for the restaurant is stunning. The staff overall is very friendly and pleasant. Our room was adorable, located on the top floor with pitched ceilings and a charming atmosphere. The bathroom was spacious and gorgeously decorated. The free standing tub was beautifully designed and located in front of a window. Highly recommend. I wish we were able to stay longer!

My sister and I stayed here for her 50th birthday celebration trip. The historic beauty of this hotel is still evident while having all the modern updates as well. Our room was spacious and comfortable and we were both shocked we couldn’t hear a peep of noise from outside! Wonderful location as well!

This hotel may have the label of a 5-star property, but in reality, it felt more like a 3-star experience at best. While the location was convenient and the room itself was spacious—especially by Portuguese standards—the overall service and hospitality were incredibly underwhelming. Customer service was sorely lacking. Aside from the friendly bellman and the gracious hostess at the restaurant, the rest of the staff seemed uninterested and disengaged. Each time we walked into the lobby, multiple employees would look at us without a greeting or acknowledgment before going right back to chatting among themselves. For a property of this caliber, that kind of cold reception is unacceptable. The breakfast buffet was average and forgettable, though we did enjoy a delicious lunch during our stay. Unfortunately, the lack of warmth and attentiveness overshadowed the few positives. Ultimately, we decided to switch to a different hotel downtown—one that actually delivered on both comfort and service. It was on flat terrain, which made it much easier to explore the city, and the overall experience there was far superior. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. With so many wonderful places to stay in Portugal, this one simply doesn’t live up to the expectations or the price point of a true 5-star property.

This hotel was the best! From the fine dining restaurant, wine tastings, and well designed rooms, this hotel exceeded expectations! Super convenient to dining, shopping, nightlife and historical attractions! We will return!

This place was honestly amazing. I cannot say enough great things about it and the people who work there. The best hotel I've stayed in and made our Lisbon experience that much better. 5 stars all around!!!!!! Room, food, drinks, amenities, location, hospitality, etc.

Could be one of the best hotels have ever stayed in. Staff friendly, rooms clean and very well thought out. The comp wine tasting is amazing, included in room rate and conducted by hotel sommelier. Very interesting architecture and design in a very cool neighborhood of Lisbon Highly recommend
