Hearthside Inn

This B&B more than exceeded our expectations based on reviews. It’s a lovingly restored old home converted into a delightful B&B experience. Juliana, the manager, was a gracious hostess & a great source of local information. Catherine, who checked us in, couldn’t have been kinder & was spot on with her restaurant recommendations. Specifically, Galyn’s where we had a delicious dinner one evening. Maygan’s afternoon tea treats & breakfasts both mornings were artfully presented & delicious as well. If we’re ever in Bar Harbor again, this will be our go to place. A big thank you to the staff for making sure our stay was a lovely experience! 💕Glenda & Jack

Wow! What a beautiful inn! We stayed in room 1 and it was beautiful. We were surprised to find that we had our own little patio as well! It was still a little chilly when we went but it was nice to step out and feel the crisp morning air and say hello to the neighbors. Hearthside Inn is so quaint and idyllic, I couldn’t have dreamed up a better place to stay! Juliana told me all about the history of the inn from the art, to the recipes, to the design. She made us feel comfortable, safe, and cared for on a LONG trip! Vanessia kept the rooms beautifully maintained. Catherine was so hopeful pointing us in the right direction of what to see and do! It’s so nice hearing from a local. And Maygan kept our energy UP with her delicious breakfasts. We may need to come back for the Nantucket pie alone! All in all, this was the best place we stayed at on our trip. It was the best breakfast, the cutest room, and the most attentive and caring staff! Juliana has all but convinced us to come back in the fall, and we may need to take her up on that offer!

Hearthside Inn is in the perfect location in Bar Harbour, 2 minutes walk to the heart of town but in a quiet residential road. It combines old world charm with modern comfort. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and afternoon tea a real bonus. From our road trip through New England, this was the best (which is why we extended by an extra day). Stay here, you won't regret it.

Está ubicado en buena zona para ver bar harbor a pie. El desayuno estaba buenísimo y el personal es súper encantador

Pensaba que el desayuno era más variado (tipo bufet) y podías repetir, pero te daban dos opciones una dulce y otra salada y elegías una. No obstante, cuando pedí probar la otra opcion me pusieron un sample para que lo probara también

Hearthside is the cutest spot! We came for my birthday and had the best time. The weather wasn’t the best but we didn’t even care because we spent so much time at the inn! They had a fire going in the evenings and we played cards with Julianna (manager). I think we could’ve never left the house at all and we would’ve been perfectly content. They fed us so well too ( thanks Megan!). The blueberry EVERYTHING was our favorite. We can’t wait to come back!
