The service and food were both great at this property to start on a positive note. However the property itself is not well maintained. Carpet is pretty gross and covered in stains, wood needs maintenance and towels were stained yellow. For the upwards cost of $500 we were not impressed by the condition of the Inn. We usually book hotels and resorts based on reviews and with excellent reviews we were sadly disappointed by this one.

Unfortunately this inn is run down. It needs a good cleaning ( windows need to be washed) and a general redo.

"Exquisite B&B close to everything in bar harbor"

I loved everything. The house is on a quiet street, right between a few main streets in Bar Harbor so you can do literally anything by walking. We went to Acadia park and you can walk 3 mins to the bus shuttle, the pier, restaurants, shops, etc. Room was clean, bed was exceptionally comfortable, delicious breakfast, kind and accommodating staff. 1000% recommend

Literally everything was phenomenal. Absolutely wonderful service, and they even accommodated my food allergies/sensitivities. From the delicious breakfasts to the lovely evening flavored lemonades and baked goodies, everything was so thoughtful, lovely, and delicious. We thank you all for your wonderful hospitality! And we appreciate how close to everything the location is :) and the beds are so comfy!!
