Hearthside Inn

My girlfriend and I loved the Hearthside! We stayed in room 6 and it was perfect. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was very clean and peaceful. I was worried it would be noisy staying in an old house but it’s very well maintained and we had no issues. Olivia checked us in and was very nice and helpful. Catherine gave us great recommendations and the food made by Martha was great! We would come back in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hearthside Inn! The room was spotless and very comfortable, and the customer service was excellent — the staff went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed. Parking was a bit of a walk, but they were very helpful in assisting us and offering good options. Breakfast was amazing, and the coffee was just what we needed to start the day. We loved our visit to the Hearthside Inn! It is so well appointed with decor that is cozy but updated. The breakfasts were delicious! The location is perfect for walking to all the shops and restaurants. The staff is so nice and helpful. You can tell that they want to make your stay as wonderful as possible. We stayed in the king bedroom with a detached bath down the hall. That was not a problem for us but could be for others. That bathroom is solely for the use of the guests in our room. All other rooms have have attached bathrooms. We definitely recommend staying here and would return should the opportunity arise!

Beautiful and historic home conveniently located to everything! So well appointed...cozy but updated. Food was delicious! Highly recommend!

We had the king bedroom with detached bath. Wasn't a problem for our two nights, but it could be a problem for some.

Though our visit to Hearthside Inn was brief, it was thoroughly enjoyable. The inn’s cozy charm and immaculate room made us feel instantly welcome. Breakfast was fresh, delicious, and served with genuine warmth. Its quiet, convenient location was perfect for our short stay in Bar Harbor—we only wish we had more time to enjoy it.

The property was lovely and the staff were extremely friendly. Will definitely be coming back.
