Hearthside Inn

Great breakfast, very comfortable bed, nice location. Note for those with physical limitations, there isn’t a lot of parking in front of the building and there are many stairs. Neither was a problem for us though.

We had the best time at the Hearthside! Rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was scrumptious and above all- staff was delightful! We would go back in a heartbeat.

We had such a wonderful trip to Bar Harbor, largely in thanks to this beautiful little inn! We ate their delicious breakfast outside every day in their garden. The room was clean and comfortable and so charming. And the staff were the icing on the cake! Mariela, Juliana, and Olivia were so fantastic. They were all so helpful, kind, and personable, I feel like I left having made new friends!

The Hearthside and staff (Catherine, Juliana and Olivia) were fabulous. The room was absolutely spotless and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and there were always snacks and sweets available. Location was quiet and convenient to everything in town. We will be back!

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and we loved everything about the Hearthside Inn. It is in a perfect location on a quiet street. The breakfasts were delicious, and the afternoon cookies and brownies were always a delectable treat! Our room and the public areas were very clean, which was another plus. Finally, everyone at the Hearthside Inn was incredibly friendly and made sure our stay was relaxing and comfortable. We will definitely return for another visit.

Lovely staff (Juliana, Catherine and Olivia), spotless and comfortable room, walkable to everything in town. Breakfast was fabulous. Honestly just perfect!

This was the perfect spot to celebrate our anniversary. The staff were so nice and accommodating. And the breakfast each morning was excellent. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

We had a delightful stay at the Hearthside Inn for our 4-day, 3-night visit to Bar Harbor/Acadia. The inn was immaculate and cozy, the innkeeers were warm and helpful, and the food was delicious (particularly all the well-stocked homemade treats). The inn was off a quiet street but centrally-located to all the best of Bar Harbor. The only small inconvenience was that the old structure has walls on the thin side and if you’re a light sleeper, you may hear your neighbors get up for a sunrise outing at 4am. These are the sort of things I expect at a B&B; however, if this sort of thing bothers you, you might consider staying at one of their sister properties: the Pathmaker Hotel (an adorable boutique hotel which looked delightful) or the Anchorage Motel. I would 100% stay here again! We enjoyed every moment.

This inn is INCREDIBLE. It is small, quaint clean and SO well run. The team here doesn’t miss a detail!!!! They made breakfast food every morning for my partner who has food restrictions. They have tea snacks everyday with treats and a drink. The rooms are so cute. We cannot recommend this place enough!

Great stay for Bar Harbor and Acadia NP! The room was comfortable, the staff so friendly and helpful, and breakfast and afternoon tea goodies were all delicious. The location is central to great restaurants, the shuttle to Acadia, shopping, and the Village Green. Highly recommend!
