Hearthside Inn

Great location!

We had a great time in Bar Harbor, largely due to the Hearthside Inn! The inn itself was quiet and cozy, the people working here were kind, friendly, and helpful, and the food was warm and filling. Shout out to Olivia, Mariela, and Juliana for taking such good care of us! They gave us great recommendations for hikes that we never would have known about had they not told us. They also told us the best places to go for lobster rolls and chowdah!!

My wife and I stayed at Hearthside for a quick fall trip to Acadia National Park. Our room was clean, comfortable and decorated nicely and the breakfast did not disappoint! Olivia, Catherine and Venessia were super helpful and accommodating. We'd definitely come back!

This b&b was fantastic! The pictures don’t give it justice for how cozy and welcoming it is here. Olivia was so friendly when checking us in, and Juliana was so helpful at breakfast! The food was to die for, the rooms are adorable, and the common space is so inviting, I felt like I was staying at someone’s home, I guess I sort of was!

Really cozy and convenient place to stay!! Very clean and the staff were great! Juliana, Olivia, and Katherine were so sweet and accommodating + the chef Martha, and Ven who cleaned our room were both amazing :)

Really delightful! Staff was so friendly, rooms were very cozy. I loved breakfast and afternoon tea, there was always a snack to be found.

We had the most wonderful stay at the Hearthside B&B in Bar Harbor! From the moment we arrived, Catherine and Olivia made us feel right at home with their warm hospitality and helpful guidance. We stayed in room 6. The inn itself is spotless — everything was so clean and well cared for — and the bed was incredibly comfortable, making for the best nights of sleep. The whole place is charming and welcoming, filled with character that instantly puts you at ease. Bar Harbor itself is a darling town, and during our two days there I truly felt like I had stepped into Bedford Falls from It’s a Wonderful Life. The combination of the inn’s cozy atmosphere, the gracious hosts, and the storybook setting made the experience unforgettable. I can’t recommend Hearthside B&B enough — it’s an absolute gem!

The breakfast they serve is delicious! They were so kind to box up our breakfast for us because we had reservations to go out on a lobster boat tour! The bed and breakfast was in walking distance to everything in bar harbor and spotless. So glad I chose this place to stay!
