Amazing stay! Staff are super nice and very attentive. We arrived really late and got a really warm welcome. We loved the room, the breakfast but the cocktails were top notch! I would happily book it again

Lovely hotel in the most perfect location. Staff were superb, food was just the job, room was spacious and clean, we were left treats every day in our suite, would definitely visit again!

Nichts alles war perfekt

Location was fantastic, overlooking the cathedral. It was also close to the top of the funicular railway which meant you could sightsee & walk downhill to the river front, then for 4 euros, could get a ride back up the hill! The hotel delivered some fruit and cakes to our room each day, which was a lovely touch. Staff at the desk were very helpful and professional. Would definitely stay there again.

Breakfast was ok as a buffet, but not a particularly extensive and probably wasnt worth the 20 euros each.

I had a hard time rating this hotel. It was a terrible in-room experience. But there are also really good things going on here. Here’s the good and the bad. The good: The location of the hotel is fabulous. Can’t be beat for easily walking everywhere. Also good: the front end staff in the restaurant. Engaging, service-focused, what hospitality should be. The breakfast (ours was included) was sufficient. The vibe is also modern and fun, although it reminds me of an upscale college apartment complex. And it’s a Hilton property so the beds are comfortable. The bad: the room. European rooms are notoriously small. But this room barely fit a king bed with literally no room left for one carry-on suitcase much less two. It was incredibly difficult for my husband and I to share this room as there was no space for any movement. There was no actual bathroom—instead the room had 3 individual bathroom components within the room but not actually enclosed in a bathroom. Getting ready was a challenge as the mirror was next to, not in front of, the sink. There was a full length mirror but there was no outlet or counter near it. Our room was never properly restocked, though it was made up daily. The towels weren’t awful but also not plush. Every evening it sounded like a small child was running back and forth above us for about an hour nonstop (not sure what that was since we never saw a child while in the hotel). The flooring was weird. It looked and felt like wall paper and walking on it felt odd. It also seemed unclean. If I were rating the hotel only on the in-room experience it would be a one-star. But in trying to fairly evaluate the whole property, I’m giving it a generous 3 stars.
