Loved the design and vibe of the hotel.

Bit pricey

This is a great hotel. The room was great, the food was great. The staff offered good recommendations for food in the area, but the hotel also has good food for both breakfast and dinner. There is also a nice spa in the hotel. The only drawback is that it is difficult to find the entrance by car, but otherwise the location is in the center of town, and is very good.

We arrived early after leaving our South Iceland accommodations early because of a winter storm and the hotel was lovely in letting us check-in/take our luggage while we went to a museum. Our room was ready a bit afternoon and we got to relax for a bit before dinner. Everything was lovely and clean with the signature Edition scent. We were able to visit the lobby bar for drinks and dinner for our 7 year old. Everyone we interacted with was very friendly and helpful. The worst part was that we had to leave in less than 24 hours. Hopfully we can come back soon.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights during our time in Iceland. It was a nice, modern, stylish hotel with very good facilities. The rooms were spacious, stylish and well equipped. We found the spa very enjoyable after a day of sight seeing. The location is perfect with just a short walk to all of Reykjaviks main sights, restaurants and bars. I think it’s a great place to base yourself in Reykjavik and a very good standard hotel with a nice luxury finish.

The reason we score this property 7 rather than higher is we just found it a lot more expensive than it’s worth. We felt it was not good value for money even compared to other hotels in our Iceland stay. I understand Iceland is expensive but this was considerably more expensive than some of our other hotels which were equal if not better on standard. I think it’s not worth this money and whilst a nice stay I would look elsewhere next time I visit.

Wao, just wao. Amazing Service. We visited this hotel for wintertime March 2026. My stay with them was amazing. The service from everyone including the bellman, front desk, breakfast staff, everyone was just amazing. I arrived early and I usually book the night prior to have the room ready upon early arrival, however, since I had booked that same night in another hotel because my flight departed overnight, I could not book this hotel as well for the night prior because then one of my stays would be disqualified. Due to this, I had to arrive early and hope room was ready. Our front desk agent was Rika; she really was so warm and friendly. We were very lucky that she found a room for us, we were able to check in, and rest before our northern lights tour that day. Upon check-in I was a little worried because they advised that the hold for both the stay and incidentals had to be on the same method of payment. However, Rika was really patient with us while we took our time to determine which method of payment to use to check-in. She was really considerate of our situation. Thanks to her positive attitude we felt calmer and were able to communicate with her and she worked with us to find a solution that meet both the Hotel’s policies as well as our needs without hiccups. The Room service food was absolutely delicious. I ordered room service almost every single day. The Staff was always available to assist. I even ask them a huge favor of disconnecting my portable battery since I left for a tour in a rush and accidentally left it plugged in, and left the DND on the door and they answered quickly that they would take care of it, so that I could stop worrying and enjoy the tour. (And they did). This was a huge weight off my shoulders. The communication with them was always great, clear & efficient. One time I contacted them on my way to the hotel very late from the northern lights tour to see where I could get food since everything seemed closed and they quickly directed me to a 24/7 convenience store that was 5-7 minute walk from hotel, where thankfully I found food. In another day I had an accident (as a female) that I was unprepared for and the hotel staff responded really quickly in getting what I needed which allow me to not stress about it and relax. The Atmosphere of the hotel was relaxing and luxurious. The location was sooooo convenient since is right next to bus stop #5 where all of our tours picked us up and trust me at winter time, being near the bus stop its a must because it is soo cold, and that way we did not have to be out in the cold with soo much time in advance to walk to a bus stop so early in the morning. Sleeping was the best, there was no noise & the beds were super comfortable. I usually have to take my white noise with me everywhere because of noise at lodging but this one was super comfy and silent. Definitely worth it. One time we were going the wrong way for a tour and we were talking to a bellman. I started saying my goodbyes and explained I was late for a tour pickup when he asked me the bus stop # I was being picked up, and when I answered, turns out I was going the wrong way. He quickly directed us. Lol. if it wasn’t for that genuine interaction & him genuinely asking our bus stop when I said goodbye we would not have made in on time. I wasn’t able to get his name, but I believe he is Cuban. Thank you soo much! My stay was such smooth sailing, I was able to fully immersive/experience Iceland and truly enjoyed my time there and trust me, I definitely have to say that a big part of my flawless experience was due to the service and quick assistance of the hotel and their amazing staff. I cannot express my gratitude. We will definitely be back in summer time to experience Iceland and all its beautiful scenarys (hopefully green).

Great location. Upscale semi bougie atmosphere. Great room w shower room and extra long tub. Nice view of harbor. The best thing about the hotel was the Concierge, Morgan. He gave me a massage so that I could relax and try the sauna room and he set us up to go to fly over Iceland then the northern lights on the very day that we arrived. Had a great night of the northern lights because he told me this would bethe only time while I was in town that I had a chance and he was correct. He also booked the excursion for snorkeling in the Fisher for me after I had already checked out of the hotel. He was super sweet and helpful.
