The Reykjavik EDITION

Staðsetningin var fullkomin, rétt hjá Hörpu þar sem við sóttum tónleika. Starfsfólkið var einstaklega lipurt. Lounge á neðstu hæð var dásamlega notalegt. Við slepptum hefðbundnum morgunmat en kíktum í staðinn á Rvk Roasters sem er inni á hótelinu og þar var allt upp á 10!

My experience at The Reykjavik Edition made up for some of my disappointment about traveling all the way to Iceland to NOT see the Northern Lights because of weather. The service at The Reykjavik Edition was top notch, everyone was helpful and friendly. The staff was good about anticipating our needs. I especially want to shout out Lidiane at Concierge for being particularly patient, helpful and thoughtful. She's great! I was a handful because of a tour situation that went all the way wrong through no fault of the hotel (that will be a separate review). Lidiane was amazing in helping me figure it out and giving good useful advice. The Reykjavik Edition's location is ideal, it is in the center of town. It is within walking distance to great restaurants and sights, even in rain, sleet, snow and cold. It is also near the water. We enjoyed the Tides Restaurant and Cafe as well. The rooms aren't huge, but decent size for 2 queen beds and have nice roomy bathrooms. I didn't expect to go back to Iceland, but I still have to see the Lights) and when I do I will definitely stay at The Reykjavik Edition .

I loved how friendly and helpful the entire staff was. The breakfast and the spa were also great!!

The location, staff and hotel in general is perfect. The spa is a lovely touch to the hotel.

Only thing we didn’t like was the pillows in the rooms, they are not very good/comfortable.
