The Culture Samui

Amazing service, pristine pool, cocktails, and for menu incredible, beds and room so comfortable, everything about our stay was perfect.

This hotel is very nice in a nice location. There are many authentic bars/ restaurants around (7-11 is super handy!) and nice to be away from the hustle and touristy Chewang Beach. We opted for the pool villa, which was very nice. We are not big ‘luxury travellers’ but the service and attention to detail weren’t 5 star, in our opinion. The pool villa was lovely, but there is a random deep concrete pit that I can only assume was supposed to be a smaller pool at some stage? It doesn’t make sense and the room feels half finished because of this. Check out and check in were the only real times we interacted with staff. We arrived early for check in and felt like a bit of a burden. The bar didn’t open till 11am and we were told to go down the road if we wanted anything. Check out wasn’t a great experience either…Mid check out I was left for another customer and it was very awkward and strange when I had to ask another member of staff to help me pay for the final bill when the girl helping me went on her phone. Again, usually not one to care about these things at all but we have since checked into another 5 star hotel and the experience is so different. Every staff member has been so kind and welcoming. Again, not a huge deal but the Culture just lacked the 5 star experience if that’s what you are after. Breakfast was ok- we only went one out of our 5 days as didn’t feeling like we were missing much by skipping it. It’s more a 4 star boutique hotel. We enjoyed our stay and area was nice overall. Totally depends what you’re after but it suited us perfectly even if it was a little expensive for what the experience was actually like!

Amazing location, quick and easy access to all the highlights of the island. Food absolutely world class and pool side service exceptional with special mention to Fluke who kept the Cocktails and Changs coming as quickly as humanly possible. We went with two teenage girls plus us (Mum and Dad) and we all loved it ! back next year for sure! Staff were so helpful and friendly - loved it!

The hotel is beautiful, really clean, everything was perfect. The staff was helpful all the time, everyone was extremely nice and friendly. Food was really good. Overall it was an 100% experience.

Booked a twin room - we get to check in and there are no twin rooms available. We were then told we have to pay extra for a twin room, which was a different room rate. Not too pleased. In a hotel where you are paying a lot of money, this should have been complimentary.

A truly great place to be! The hotel offers direct access to a beautiful beach, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The staff is incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile — they really make you feel at home.

Had a wonderful experience at The Culture Samui all staff were wonderful delicious breakfast daily by the beach swimming pool was huge nice warm water great location fantastic service good value thank you so much see you again next time. John

I really enjoyed my stay at The Culture Samui. The hotel is right on the beach and has a clean, modern design that feels calm and inviting. The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I joined one of the sunset yoga sessions on the beach – a nice touch that added to the relaxing vibe. The food at the restaurant was fresh and tasty, and the staff were attentive to questions and happy to accommodate special requests or changes to the dishes. The location is convenient – close to restaurants and shops, but still peaceful. Overall, a great place to relax. I’d happily come back.

Awesome stay at The Culture. Located in the laidback area of BoPhut Samui with many options for eateries as well as accessible to places of interest. Highly recommend for tourists & adventure backpackers to stay when visiting Samui. Cheers! :)
