The Culture Samui

Had a fantastic stay with my wife, celebrating our anniversary with The Culture. Took a direct flight from Singapore with Scoot and just 10minutes drive away from the airport, and perfect for aviation sightseeing of planes coming in to land, or takeoff. The amazing service staff at reception, restaurant and all were really warm and friendly. Checking in and out were seemless. What we loved about the hotel was our villa with beachfront access and private pool. It was comfortable, clean and quiet. Perfect place to relax and enjoy. Of the many things we did such as a Thai cooking class and watching a fireshow on the beach within the hotels property, our favourite activity was the private dining on the beach where we had a splendid surf and turf bbq feast, which overlooked the beach and captured the most beautiful sunset. Tee and the ladies from the restaurant were great and their service made our happy hour cocktail visits that much sweeter. The gym was simple and easy to access as we managed to squeeze some time in for a quick workout. We even did an evening yoga session with Anne, a professional instructor who catered to us beginners. There are also many good (clean) massage outlets and nail saloons outside along the same street. The same stretch you can find amazing local thai food eateries. You can also get pizza or macdonalds next door or even get late night snacks from the 7-11 across the street. There's even, Majesty Tailor a 10minute walk away to get your suits done. We also did make a short visit to the fisherman's village night market to have a seafood dinner and our favourite mango sticky rice, along with other local delights. Overall stay was perfect and we can't wait to go back again in the near future. Highly recommended to anyone / couples who just want a nice quiet stay away from the main area with everything that you need available within short walking distance. Getting around is easy anyway with bike rentals and private hire vehicles if you're just too lazy to walk.

Het was op zich een prima verblijf maar ik zou hier niet nog een keer boeken voor zulke prijzen. Het heeft een lekker zwembad en de nodige winkels in de buurt maar het bed was slecht. Ik heb 5 nachten slecht geslapen en werd wakker met rugpijn omdat je in een kuil ligt. Na dit aangegeven te hebben bij de receptie was de enige oplossing een extra deken op het bed (wat natuurlijk niet werkt). Ook nu achteraf staat het hotel niet open voor een passende oplossing. Voor 4,5 ster en €200 per nacht verwacht ik een betere service en kwaliteit. Ook de vloer van de douche liep steeds vol door een verstopt putje, onvoorziene werkzaamheden bij het zwembad (hele dag boren en volgende dag zwembad tijdelijk gesloten). Voor ons helaas een minder goede ervaring dus.

Great resort in the Bang Rak area of Koh Samui, just a 5 min ride from the airport. Spacious rooms, nice breakfast and dedicated staff. The resort is within walking distance of several restaurants and beach clubs in the area. We've stayed here before and will definitely stay here again.

Hotel "The Culture Samui" is a great hotel, modern, clean, right on the seafront, with a very friendly reception. The beds are large, but unfortunately the mattresses are poor (similar to futons). Luggage was brought to the room, and a welcome drink of coconut sorbet was served. Happy hour from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. (price list: cocktails 280 + service and breakfast = 330) A bit too expensive without the happy hour, in my opinion. Breakfast is extremely varied – more like brunch. Lots of choice, fresh. Disadvantage: airplanes fly directly over the hotel. A plume of kerosene sometimes reaches the hotel. Breakfast is also available outside – unfortunately, you can't see the sea from your table because of a small hill in front of it.

Great location on the beach, close to airport, the ocean view suite is very large and the service was terrific. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends. Make sure to check out the fire show if that is on - very cool. Next time I’m in Samui I would stay there longer

AMAZING PROPERTY & AMAZING STAY. JUST AMAZING FROM THE ROOMS, VIEWS TO THE FOOD. STAFF WAS VERY POLITE AND HELPFUL. GREAT POOL FOR SWIIMMING THE PICK UP AT AIRPORT WAS QUICK. BEST 5* HOTEL IN KOH SAMUI. GREAT VARIETY IN BREAKFAST. POOL BAR IS JUST AMAZING WITH GREAT VARIETY OF COCKTAILS

Hotel was op zich erg mooi alleen heel erg gehorig! We konden de buren horen praten in de kamer. Ook was er mega harde muziek de hele dag van het naastgelegen hotel. Ook was het bed niet echt fijn, je lag in een kuil zeg maar. Het zwembad en de ligging aan zee waren prachtig. Ontbijt was ook top!

Beautiful hotel, we had a comfortable room, the pool is at the right temperature and super close to the beach, and the service was incredible also: the hotel staff walked took our luggage to the pier, and fixed everything for us. Thank you Culture Samui!

Alt i alt bra, men hadde noen mangler. Veldig vond lukt fra sluket på vårt baderom, som også var delvis tett. Ganske sen romvask etter normal standard. Få solsenger med parasoller. Hyggelige mennesker, fin eiendom ved stranden. God frokost.
