The Artist Residence is a really cool little boutique hotel. However, I reserved a Loft room that did not have a King Size bed as advertised. On Sunday morning there was no chef to cook breakfast until 10am. The photobooth was broken and there was no one at the hotel when we wanted to collect our baggage after spending the day exploring Bristol. Minor things perhaps, but a shame because would have otherwise been perfect.

I had a great experience at the Artist Residence. The team were very accommodating even before I arrived as I had to ask for help with an invoice and then they held on to my suitcase the day after so I didn't have to wander the city all day with them. The location was a 20-minute walk from where my meeting was (near Beacon) and there are amazing restaurants close by. Really liked the area. The room was quiet, comfy and I loved having the coffee machine right there in the mornings! The only con of all my stay is that I wish the lighting could be a bit brighter in the room so I could do my make up better. I'll definitely be staying again next time I'm in Bristol!
