Great place to stay, right in the middle of everything. We were a bit annoyed that we received an email from the Hotel prior to us arriving saying that the bar and kitchen were open all day every day. When we checked in at approx 2:30pm, we were told the bar and kitchen were not open until 5pm! Didn't know anything about the email. Despite this, I would recommend staying, the staff were very pleasant and the room/bed was very nice.

We arrived on a Sunday night and we booked the Lookout and the adjacent room for our two boys - unfortunately the rooms for our kids was not made up and the staff were so lovely and sorted it out. Our room had a drainage smell coming from the pipes and the manager and staff were so lovely and made up for it without us even making a big deal out of it. The staff were so nice and went out of their way to compensate and make it up to us without us even demanding it - a real gem of a team and thank you for being so kind and generous to our family. A lovely place to stay in Bristol and highly recommend it.

Another great stay - we have stayed a few times and always love this hotel! The beds are comfortable and bedding lovely quality, lovely bathrooms and overall great, fun vibe.

Lovely quirky hotel with friendly and helpful staff and excellent a la carte breakfasts. Lots of downstairs space to socialise in, ideal for a family gathering. Our room was fine although, lacking a chest of drawers, I decided to put my jumpers in the space in the bedside table - where I found a dusty thong!

Comfortable room, albeit some maintenance was definitely needed. The walls were scuffed in a few places, the handheld shower was cracked, there was dust on the extractor vent and the main shower head wasn’t clean. At a premium price point I’d expect the hotel to keep on top of these things. Service was also not great. Reception were friendly, but you have to buzz for entry to check in, and there was no one there, so I had to wait on the (not that nice) street for 5/10 mins buzzing and knocking on the door before being let in. Breakfast was a disappointment- I saw pics of the cooked breakfast online, but this might be just a weekend thing. I arrived downstairs and the server seemed confused when I asked if I could sit anywhere. After 10 mins with no service I asked how breakfast worked and he (quite rudely I felt) said it was just continental but he could take my coffee order if I wanted (in a tone that suggested he didn’t really want to do this!). The ‘continental’ breakfast seemed to consist of some plain croissants that looked like they came out of a packet, some plain yoghurt and some basic cereals…not exactly what you’d expect from a high end hotel. At similar price points I’ve seen fresh pastries, toast, cheeses, deli meat, fresh fruit etc - this was more akin to a travel lodge! I had a comfortable nights sleep but would not return due to the patchy service and basic breakfast offering.

The hotel is so charming, so beautiful, everthing so well looked after. The people working there are great! I looked up your hotel that you run in London. I will definitely go there, too!

I took my boyfriend on a special one night stay in Bristol and this hotel couldn’t have been more perfect. A stunning townhouse and even the smallest room was all we needed. Gorgeous features in the room and high ceilings and so much light. They thought of everything with all the soaps and teas . The staff were so lovely and made us feel so comfortable. The only thing was the loud noise going to sleep as we were on the first floor and there was a party in the ground floor room below apart from that perfect !
