Éteka Slow Beach Hotel

The service was wonderful, the beach was fabulous, breakfast was delicious and Mari, Omar, Katty and Tatan made ours feel so warm and welcome!! They are truly the best.

The flies were crazy but everybody did the best that they could to keep them at bay.

We got the island the first day put our bags down and wanted to go for a swim. The pool was closed because it was being “treated”but we chose to walk over and only look at it anyway. I twas very murky and had a bad smell to it which deterred us from wanting to use jt the second day. So we decided to swim at their little beach. Almost immediately I stepped ln a rusty nail that did not penetrate my foot thank good. But we needed up finding multiple rusty nails right at their beach and I gave them to the workers who basically shook it off. There were flies everywhere when you wanted to eat breakfast or dinner. They only supplied you with 2 tiny water bottles a day. If you do not stay within the compound kf the hotel and try to walk the beach you will be bombarded with locals trying tk sell you think or stray dogs that come right up to you and want food and will bark until u give them something.

Is a only Instagram place . A lot of flies is almost impossible to drink or eat . They send you to the room and that is worse . Not recommended for the amount what you pay . If free is expensive bad smell and dirty beach . Not for a really vacation international , maybe local tourists “enjoy” but is not a place for $490 night

Highly recommend enjoying the private beaches and beautiful pool, especially during weekdays when you may have the hotel all to yourselves. We stayed there two nights and wish we would've stayed longer.

Review for Etaka Beach Club We spent a day at Etaka Beach Club, and I can’t express how amazing my experience was! The property is absolutely beautiful and incredibly stylish, with a design that perfectly complements the serene atmosphere. It was the ideal place to unwind and relax. The peaceful and quiet ambiance allowed us to truly escape from the hustle and bustle. The food was outstanding—each dish we tried was delicious and beautifully presented. We will definitely be returning to Etaka Beach Club, and next time, we hope to stay at the hotel to fully immerse ourselves in this unique paradise. The spa and massage experience was also top-notch, providing the perfect way to rejuvenate during our visit. I can't recommend this place enough!

English is a problem. Staff speaks only Spanish. Menu is online and digital, but the WiFi is bad, which makes it complicated to order. No supermarket at the island: so you have to buy water or whatsoever in the hote. Unfortunately they only sell small bottles, so you keep on buying. Money driven. Loud music in the weekend. Staff seem to be unhappy. I guess due to unkind unfriendly management. Treat your staff better, I would say.
