WoodSpring Suites Thornton-North Denver

I stayed for one week. Worse hotel I've ever stayed in.The hallway of the property leading to my room stunk. It smelled of possible animal urine and from time to time it smelled of cigarettes. The floors exiting the elavators were dirty and sticky. The elavotor was dirty. People lived at this property full time. Pets are allowed. I don't know how the employees don't smell the funk (a strong musty smell) and they don't mop the floors on a regular basis. I think the employees ignore the mess. The inside of my room was okay. It was clean, but after seeing the outside, I took it upon myself to clean it and disinfect it. I do not recommend.

Staff was real nice

Room was just ok. Staff was helpful and friendly. Probably perfect for men traveling long term. There were definitely people living there and receiving mail full-time. Coming from a tourist town that was kind of odd for me.

They texted and cancelled our stay 10 min before check in

This hotel was one of the worst places we have ever stayed. The room was dirty, the lady at the front desk was not overly friendly and didn’t seem to know much. When we pulled into the parking lot, we alerted her to a man sneaking people in the side door and she did nothing. There was vomit and trash in the parking lot that had not been cleaned up the whole time we were there, I would advise anyone to bypass this hotel and stay elsewhere.

The property was just ok. My issue was with checkout. I had prepaid for 8 days to spend time with our daughter, but I became ill and we needed to leave, so we checked out 5 days early. I didn't expect a refund, as I had prepaid, but I did Purchase trip insurance and need my receipt to show we checked out early, but I've called 4 times and they've never sent me a receipt
