It is a beautiful property with lovely grounds, and excellent service

Very far from main town VF, so much better if you want to just relax at the site and not visit around. Also very very pricey.

This hotel was simply exquisite! After a long journey, the ambience and location by the Zambezi River was just what we needed. The food was amazing, and the staff were friendly and provided lots of insight into the local area and life in Zimbabwe. The grounds were impeccably clean and full of flora and fauna, what was also nice to see was the abundance of wildlife freely roaming the grounds including Elephants, Warthogs, monkeys and small impala/antelope to name a few. We booked the sunset cruise and Dusty Road lunch through the hotel, both of which we highly recommend. The perfect base to venture into Zimbabwe and Zambia and of course Victoria Falls which was a 10-15 min leisurely drive away.

Best experience I’ve had in Victoria Falls and worth the price. The rooms are top class, meals excellent. The views on the Hotel are perfect.

Ilike this hotel in every department. I will definitely recommend it. the rooms are nice size and comfortable. housekeeping staff are very good and polite. all my requests were taken care of. much appreciated. the food was great. the whole place is very beautiful and relaxing. I would have given it 5 if it wasn't of the night duty manager who was very rude about ordering dinner and lack of aircons in the lounge and dining area even if its open plus they should periodically fumigate for mosquitoes. I cannot wait to go back.

Location on Zambezi river is stunning. Sunset cruise leaves from hotel jetty. Some animals in hotel grounds. Staff very polite and helpful. Courtesy bus to town. All in all beautiful.

It really is a unique and beautiful hotel. The staff are all extremely helpful and the ambience is lovely. We were also blessed to have seen an elephant literally almost next to us whilst having a drink in the grounds.

this hotel is just nice!! that's all !! its old and needs an update badly!!! the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was large but wifi - good luck and TV - good luck!! we had no air in our room when we arrived!!! i called down to the front desk and no one answered !!! so i had to go back downstairs to the front desk and 2 women were working there!! i guess they don't like to answer the phone!! i told them about our no air and they sent some man up to start the archaic thermostat and left but no air was coming out!!! so we slept with only the ceiling fan if you call that sleeping!!! the nest morning i told the manager.... he had it fixed and our room cleaned since they had to cut into the ceiling!! he offered to treat us to dinner that night and we said ok.... he should have comped our room for the night!!! but the dinner was good and the breakfast is lovely!! the pool not so much
