Barceló Lanzarote Royal Level

A quick week in the sunshine and we stayed here. The Royal Level part is sort of within the larger Barcelo Active Resort but has its own pool / restaurants / bars / accommodation areas. Guests in the Royal Level can use the facilities of the Active Resort but not the other way round. Everything was really good with no complaints about anything. Food although a bit similar every night was good with plenty of choice (bizarrely even had gummy bears). Drinks in the bar were all premium brands and Fever Tree tonic was served with the Gin. Big shout out to Leo who always had my G&T waiting when we went down for a drink before dinner. Rooms were large and cleaned every day and whilst the rooms were clean the public areas leading to the rooms were a bit dated and in need of attention. But dont let this put you off. Would i return yes

Great overall experience, food was of a great quality with loads of variety. Loads of activities with a well kitted out gym. Staff our friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend a visit

Superb facilities, staff, food, entertainments and housekeeping. Change of linen and towels whenever needed. Polite and friendly staff from gardeners to restaurant staff, cleaners to bar staff. Entertainment every day and evening was excellent and some of the shows should be on BGT. Magic to Juggling to Acrobatics, marvellous. We will be back for sure.

Alles wie beschrieben sehr schön, aus meiner Sicht sollten alle Pools beheizt werden, weil genügend grüne preiswerte Energie vorhanden sein sollte

We stayed at the Royal resort, which was quieter. The building is good and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The food was plenty of variation and good quality. There were always enough sun lounges to sunbath by the pool. The staff were friendly, respectful and very helpful.

The Royal Level extras were outstanding. The food and service in the RL asana restaurant was 5 star. The RL pool was the only heated one, this was very necessary in the Lanzarote wind. Our room looked out to the power station and it was very very quiet which I appreciated.

Having stayed here last year on a solo break I booked the same for this trip. However I was 8 weeks post hip surgery so sadly couldnt do the amount of swimming i intended! I booked directly with the hotel but it wasn't easy to figure out which type of room I should book as they had all slightly changed names from last year. However I got what I wanted (I sent an accompanying note with the booking), my only request was a sea view. Room lovely and spacious bright and clean. Room cleaned daily and supplies replenished. Was welcomed with a bottle of cava as a returning guest! I don't understand some of the comments I've read on here re. the food. One of the reasons I returned here was the breakfasts! Simply amazing, so fresh and wide variety. The evening meals were also good, yes some dishes weren't piping hot but unless you're there when the restaurant opens or a fresh pot has just been put out it never will be. I tend to eat dinner late anyway so accept that everything wont be boiling hot. Such a lovely wide variety of salads too. The staff were so pleasant and helpful, both on the royal level reception desk, the Asana restaurant and the Goa bar next to the royal level pool. Also Beatriz the guest manager was very helpful and lovely upon check out. The staff really are a credit to this hotel! Can't wait to return 💓
