The location was ideal for our needs The beds were amazingly comfortable The property was of a good size and value for money Property was clean to a good standard

These are minor issues that can be sorted to make the accommodation even better There was no toilet roll on arrival to the property kitchen utilities i.e. pans were minimal freezer did not work fridge had a broken shelf We were unable to manually turn the heating down or up to match our needs so at times it was uncomfortably hot and other times extremely cold

Cozy house great parking. Beds super.comfy and there are plenty of facilities such as smart tv. Location was great right near a small shop butchers a few pubs and the bus stops right outside. Communication with the.owner good great value accommodation

The freezer was not working but I didn't need it. The recycling from previous renters was still in the small recycling bins which I moved myself. Couldn't find the instructions for the oven but got it working ok. Very noisy road but can't be helped as it's a.main.road into town. No toilet roll on arrival but we get our own. One of the rooms only has one large and.one small towel for two people but not the end of world. Had to shop for tea and coffee ect also washing up.liquid as nothing in.the house.to.welcome us or to start the break but again not a big deal just mentioning as people may not bring their own. For the price over new year it's not a complaint just a little.info for future stays

NOTHING - TOTAL SCAM AND NIGHTMARE!

We arrived at Crowtree from a long drive down from Kent at around 3pm, A check in time that we had already agreed with the property. On arrival we noticed that we wasn't sent any check in details. We called the telephone numbers that were available to us a numerous amount of times that were just ringing through. At this point, it was getting on to 3:30pm and still no answer from the owners about the lockbox code to collect the keys. We finally got through to Bookings.com who were trying to contact the property owners their side and still no luck. But they were able to tell us the code for the lockbox which should have a set of 2 keys. One for the front door and the other for back door. Once we got into the lockbox there wasn't any keys!!! it was empty!! The Bookings.com team said they have given the property owners 45 minutes to respond. If they don't, they will cancel our booking. At this point it was starting to get dark and we had been waiting outside the property for nearly 2 hours with a young child. Thankfully we had a vehicle to sit in as it was freezing outside. After the 45 minutes, we get a notification to say. "Unfortunately, CrowTrees informed us that they can no longer accommodate you due to." That was it. That's all we got from them!!! I then had to find an alternative accommodation for my family for 5 people last minute for the weekend! I want to add that when we arrived at the Crowtree house, there were full bins left outside both entrances., fag ends everywhere. And looking through the window into the kitchen. It looked filthy. There were crumbs left all around the sink. We are now VERY thankful we didn't have to stay at this property as it looked depressing and dirty. I want to warn anyone who is planning on booking this property or any other properties that is owned by Twiig Ltd or 'Tom' to stay well away. Thankfully, Bookings.

Location and size very good.

The freezer doesn’t work it’s hot we needed things for Xmas dinner lost a lot of food, the compressor had gone in the back, it was red hot inside. Lamp in living room was broken hanging sideways on arrival, bath panel was hanging off had to put back for safety of kids. Bathroom window wouldn’t open either. All lamps in bedrooms don't work apart from master suite they all need new bulbs, the toaster tripped the electrics, only a two burner but house can sleep 8 people surely you would have a larger toaster. The shelves in fridge don't stay in, had to pile all food on top of each other . There was no tin opener and no sugar when it stared it’s a luxury house and drinks making facilities on arrival we thought that was basic for a house stay never mind luxury. I feel for the price we have paid this isn't acceptable at all. No tv in master bedroom and the tv in second didn’t have a aerial so couldn’t use anyway. We had tried emailing and calling the number provided to no avail. And still had no response to god knows how many messages and missed calls it’s not acceptable. We booked this out for Xmas and for the money and lack of luxuary was very disappointed, £600 for 3 nights was not worth the money. Jade Dyson

The property was a good size, plenty of space, nicely decorated. Had a table big enough for everyone staying. Little touches like tea/coffee/biscuits, hand soap in bathrooms and stuff to wash up with were nice. Good location with access to lots of surrounding entertainment. Shop down the road and supermarket not too far away.

The property needs some tlc, things like bath panel was broken, units in kitchen are dropping, walls need a repaint or wipe down, bathroom units are chipped, radiators and plug sockets are loose. Could do with new sheets/pilows/quilts as some of these seemed dirty/old esp the one in the bunk bed and sofa bed. The main problems were the shower leaked in the bathroom wetting the floor and the sofa bed is broken so an adult wouldn’t have been able to use it. Luckily we had a smaller child who could sleep on one edge but really isn’t usable. The other point is on the day of checking out the owner sent us a just giving link which I thought was a little distasteful.

Our beds were never dressed. I sent a complaint and requested the beds be made. This request was ignored on both days of our stay. We had to use tshirts as pillowcases and had no bed sheets or duvet covers for our two night stay. On arrival we had no toilet paper. This was such an inconvenience as we came straight from the airport to the house and then straight to attend a funeral. We did not know where to buy some nor did we have the time to go shopping for some. The milk that was left at the tea and coffee station was out of date. After our stay the host and myself agreed on a partial refund for the inconvenience which occurred during our stay. I never received this refund and am still waiting on it.

Communication was patchy Lamps didn't work, had 2 working lamps for 3 rooms Freezer didn't work Couldn't work the gas oven in spite of asking for help with this Sofa bed was broken Not enough toilet rolls for 6 guests Poor layout of kitchen facilities (kettle on opposite side of kitchen to cup cupboard for example)
