The Star Residences - Gold Coast

The location and the view was amazing we were on the 48th floor apartment was clean and the bed was comfortable we had everything we needed.

Getting to the front foyer to check no place to park and the staff are not that friendly at the front desk. You also get charged for your parking which other hotels near by it’s part of your stay

There was a high pitched noise coming from directly outside our room, which kept us awake most of the night Also, when booking the room, Parking was advertised as being included in the price, only to receive an email the day before arriving to say that it wasn't guaranteed , due to not providing the booking advertisement, i was charged for Parking, not happy with that at all

The location was great Reception staff was really nice and helpful Food was delicious Super easy to access and easy parking

Lift Wait Times (however, know this is out of management's control) The Iron in our room didn't work The Cafe outside the Casino tends to have really slow service - they also cleared my plate before I was finished (I popped to the bathroom)

The location is amazing. I havent been at the Star on the Gold Coast before. The one bedroom unit with balcony had amazing city views and ocean glimpses. This exceeded my expectations. I will be back. Highly recommend the Star Residence.

Loved the room inside and the view. Loved the facilities, the pools, gym and the level 20 seating area super amazing. Room nice and modern with a super comfy bed.

Didn't like the sound of the hot water system. Outside our room door, it was so loud when people had showers. We did report to reception to be told that it was all over the website and in the welcome letter. We didn't see on the internet and it wasn't on the welcome letter. It was so piercing the sound it would almost make you feel sick in the hallway waiting for the lift or walking to our room. I requested a little later check out and was granted a 12pm which was great and we appreciated that. But than the cleaner came knocking on the room door at 11am and I said we have been granted a later check out. Well the cleaner went to management and said we were staying until 2pm. I than received multiple calls which I missed and a visit to the room by a male staff member to make sure I wasn't staying past 12pm. Really didn't enjoy the extra hour, it felt more like constant harassment!!!!

Great location. Bang for your buck. Close to restaurants etc.

Check in can be tedious.

Its location and facilities were great.

The four lifts were very slow and I wasn’t working. We had an issue with payment whereby it had been taken from our account but wasn’t with them. This took a long time to sort out.
