MainStay Suites Gaylord

This hotel is great for pet owners. Our room was on the first floor and it was right beside the side door. It was so convenient for taking our dog out for bathroom break and there was lots of area for a dog to walk and go to the bathroom. They provided potty bags at a post right outside by the grass. The room was clean and there were high ceilings so the room felt big. Our king size bed was comfortable. And the pull out sofa wasn’t too comfy but it was enough for our kid. There was microwave, stove top and a big fridge in the room so it was very convenient for cooking. Breakfast was also amazing. Very fresh with lots of variety. We stayed this hotel for skiing at the Boyne Mountain and it was fine about 20mins away. It is well worth the price. Highly recommend!

The room was amazing!!!! Comfy bed, pillows, and blanket!!! Staff was amazing hotel was super clean. So so happy !

If I could click on 10 stars I would. The staff, the cleanliness, the appearance, the breakfast and the cost, all excellent. I will be staying here again and recommend to any of my friends going north.

The property was very clean and well taken care of.

I don’t have any complaints.

The only thing I didn’t like was that it was like a bar in the lobby last night. There were 30 plus people in the lobby drinking and being very loud for hours on end. Not something you like to see when you have two little ones Made me feel uneasy honestly.

The kitchenette was a very nice touch. The room appeared to be very clean, however due to the pets that had previously been through the room, my wife coughed our entire stay. I felt sorry for the neighbors. Its too bad people dont rank higher than an animal in the world we live in. Clean, but I'll go across the ex-way to the hotels where the animals aren't allowed next time
