Good quality room and finishes, very good bed and easy parking. Breakfast was very good too.

High quality, clean, very good check in and out experience.

Staff didn’t notice some breakfast buffet, cutlery and crockery had run out.

We have used this hotel multiple times whilst visiting family in Exeter. It’s a great place to stay, oddly for the UK everything works! Extensive parking , quick and friendly check in, lifts , nice rooms,with good a/c and very quiet ie soundproofing the best I’ve had. We eat in the bar first night , excellent service, good bar food. All mains the same price - simple no fuss. (great idea) Second night eat in the top floor “ view” restaurant, excellent food and service special mention to Lacey who was a perfect host. Also the Manger who recommended dishes and was very friendly. After dinner drinks in the upstairs bar , staff again great so friendly. It’s odd all the staff appear to actually enjoy their jobs, so many other hotels could learn from this. We had 10 other family members who stayed for the first time all were highly impressed. There is a small station ten minutes walk away where a ten min trip to either Exeter or Topsham. Five minutes walk the other way a nice pub with Beer Garden. We are back in 3 weeks travelling to Cornwall as it’s five minutes to the M5. In summary, we travel a lot and this is one of my favourite hotels. Relaxing feeling , great staff , great food and nice rooms. Just does everything well. Only minor problems is odd transparent bathroom ie you can see in from the room but that’s a design topic . Thanks again for an another great stay. Other hotels take note on how to Manage and lead staff and welcome guests.
