Aeolian Village Beach Resort

First, I would like to thank the bartenders Natalia, Andreas and Mike, and the manager Nektarios for making our stay so special. I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was perfectly clean from the rooms to the common areas. The food was excellent, fresh and tasty every day. Both the swimming pool and the sea were very clean and pleasant for swimming. The drinks at the bar were also outstanding and well prepared.

The hotel has a great location, only a 10 minute walk from Skala Eressos. Fab amenities incl paddle tennis court. The food is exceptional. At least 5/6 choices and chefs go out of their way to help anyone with dietary requirements.

This is our third visit to this hotel and to the International Women’s Festival. The hotel is consistently good, we have been twice with Mark Warner and once when it was managed by Neilson. This time we were with Mark Warner and the staff were charming. Particularly good were Harry on the bikes, Sophie and Vicky on the fitness and Ralli on the water sports. The manager was accommodating in wiring up the hotel TV so we could watch the Rugby World Cup, and generally I don’t think this hotel can be faulted. I did note from other posts that you can book it more cheaply via Jet2, but we go for the Mark Warner activities. Two of our friends booked with Diva Destinations, which is much more expensive, but they get various additional activities included. The Festival itself was less interesting than in previous years and, as a straight couple, we didn’t feel welcome this year, which we have in previous years.

My partner and I had an excellent stay for two weeks here in early September 2025. The hotel is in a great location by a large and either empty (mornings) or at most half empty (afternoons) beach, along a road with almost no traffic so it's very quiet and peaceful. It's a 10-15 minute walk into Skala Eresou, which is charming and full of restaurants on the beach and a few shops. (The town hosts the excellent International Eresos Women's Festival in early to mid September so is very lively then but presumably also is all summer.) The hotel and rooms are very clean and comfortable. The food is very good, especially the Greek themed nights (the local staff playing to their strength there, clearly). There are more than enough sun loungers by the pool and a decent number on the beach. And EVERY hotel staff member was friendly and helpful. Too many to mention them all but in particular Aphroditi and Maria at reception who were very helpful several times and with excellent English; Olympia and George (the boss) in the restaurant; and (other) George on the waiting staff. We travelled with Mark Warner and while we didn't do many activities apart from some fitness - Vicky was excellent - so can't comment on those, MW were faultless too and all staff were as friendly and helpful as the hotel staff.

Comfortable hotel on a blue flag beach - great food cooked with love by chef George and his team, various and themed food options, tender meats, great veggies, plenty of fresh food throughout the day. Clean beach with comfortable sun beds can get windy. Crystal clear sea and big pool - ideal for relaxing or/and sporty vacation.

Well run, clean, fun, relaxed. Good variety of activities and good food. No problems with early morning towels in taking up all the sun beds… polite, civilised guests. Great proximity to Skala Eressos!

Beautiful experience. The hotel, the cleanliness & comfort of rooms, the excellent staff, the perfect location (close to town (easy walk) but removed enough for beach privacy), and the extras (spa, water sports, fitness classes, nightly entertainment, etc), made this the ideal vacation spot for me.
