We had unpleasant smell in our room

GBClean place with bits you needed to cook. Great location with shops just outside and river not too far. Great places to eat out close by too.
No microwave and only one stove top so limited to what you can cook but we still made a chilli.

The misunderstandings on the first day of arrival. It was difficult to unlock the door, though we read the instruction carefully at least 3 times to understand what we were doing wrong. At last, we coped with the door, the tenth attempt was successful, then we kept on training, then we understood that we should pull the door handle slightly, the slightest movement possible. On the site, it was just written "pull, while entering the last number of the code." So if to pull it in a normal way, it was impossible to open it. After this "entertainment," we had some problems with internet connection, solved fast, because the host started answering my questions on the booking chart. Then, we had a problem with the smell of cigarettes inside the apartment for non-smokers. And it was so strong that it was possible to get rid of it only when we left the balkony door and the window half open for the whole next day. But on the first day of arrival, l was told that l should read the instructions, and if l don't like anything, l can go away immediately (the full refund will be given). I was so exhausted after a long road that l decided to stay at least till the next morning. And then everything was ok. My daughter even liked the place, though the first night she suffered from a terrible migraine. Because of the smell in the room and all these "adventures". Then, the host ( or the person who answered me in booking chat) seemed to be polite, but this "hospitality " of the day of our arrival shocked me. If you have read my story to the end, thank you for your patience))) and you have what to think about while considering booking this place or not.

USThe location is great. It's a short walking distance to Dresden Neustadt train station and the oldtown. The apartment is very bright and clean.
The bed is a bid too small for two adults.
