Don Panchon y Maruxa

The staff is amazing, they are very welcoming and friendly. The room was big and spacious. It is 3 minutes from the beach. The staff prepares breakfast and it is delicious. We would definitely come back!

Nothing to complain about. Maybe the toilet flush needs more maintenance.

Centrally located, cute garden area and clean rooms. The family owning this place and the folks working there are all very nice. Small but sufficient breakfast. A few blocks from the beach and directly around the corner from CIBanco ATM point.

The location is great, 5 minutes from the beach and great cafes and restaurants. Panchon was always very kind and friendly.

The room were not the cleanest (also due to general sand build up) and it was easy to hear across the rooms. The breakfast was not vegetarian-friendly which was quite difficult for us.

Wonderfully genuine and warm Mexican hospitality! Lluis, his team, and Don Panchon were so hospitable and made is feel like part of the family, always on hand to offer advice and a big smile. Great location near the ferry and the center of the town. Bikes were reasonable to rent and recommended if you want to see the island. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty. Thank you for making our trip to Holbox so memorable!

This is beyond the control of the hotel but the road in front is busy during the day, but quiet at night so sleep is uninterrupted. Water pressure was low at times but this is an island which hasn’t succumbed to overdevelopment, so a little patience is rewarded for a warm shower. If you’re looking for a five star hotel, then look elsewhere, but be prepared to pay for it! Overall, we loved our time at Don Panchon & Maruxa, and would return in a heartbeat!
