Radisson Blu Hotel, Mount Erciyes

Great location amongst the mountian and the snow. Good amenities

We had a disappointing experience with a staff member, we were asking what the cakes in the patisserie were, and the employee kept saying we have to pay for it, we can't get it for free, even though we knew that and just wanted to know what they were. He then directed us to free cookies instead, assuming we cannot afford the cake (it is quite expensive to stay in the hotel so it was a bit shocking for them to think this). The hotel is also extremely dry, to the point that the stay was extremely unpleasant. Nose bleeds, post nasal drip the entire stay. We had to buy a bowl and boil water to help humidify the air, and we had to sleep with the window opened in -6°c weather in order to get some sort of humidity in. We mentioned it multiple times and the one manager said it is a problem with the system, while everyone else said they felt the same. One employee even said to me 'unfortunately, same' when I complained about the extreme dryness. For so much money, you'd expect them to have some plans in place so their guests don't get sick.

The hotel is a resort - it has all the facilities of a resort & can ski direct off the hotel. Eg, There is a “house” carpet which you can ski from the resort at no cost, there are lifts within +-80m. Pool with outside area, sauna, steam, amazing lounge with view & apres ski. Hotel is well looked after & new. Food was delicious, with many options. The staff are attentive, friendly, helpful and overall add to the experience.

Don’t get a room with inter-leading door.

Had an incredible time at Radisson Erciyes, the staff were so kind and attentive, making us feel so comfortable, the best service ever. The hot pool was fantastic, and the food was absolutely amazing – the perfect way to end a day of skiing. Can’t wait to return!

The hotel is absolutely wonderful, and exceeded all our expectations! Great heated pool, delicious breakfasts, clean, spacious, and very comfortable rooms. We especially liked the ski lockers and ski rent. The ski lockers are heated, so your boots and ski clothes are always dry. We only rented skis and sticks and they were great. A special pleasure is that the ski lifts are next to the hotel, and if you want to get to a further lift, the hotel provides a free shuttle service

The food in the restaurant is not always tasty and the main pool was quite cold. These are the only things I could think of from the disadvantages

From the description of the room it was not clear that it is in a separate building and to reach slopes you need to cross the road.

The hotel has nice amenities at an excellent loctation. However, it is super hot and the temperature cannot be regulated. Nice hotel but not enjoyable given the heat and unacceptable value for money.

It is super hot and the temperature cannot be regulated. Even after four times informing to the staff, they just didn't bother. We were suffering at constant 28 degrees and could not sleep at night, despite leaving the windows open. Nice hotel but not enjoyable given the heat. Unacceptable given the high price.
