Pyramids Oasis Hotel

Clean, large room, friendly staff. Nice rooftop view. Good breakfast.

The location of the hotel is on a busy road but not far from the pyramids at Giza. The breakfast was plentiful and the times good for a lie in 7 -10. The manager Mr Reda is excellent as he is super friendly, helpful and accommodating. He is always the to troubleshoot any problems that may occur. The roof top terrace is wonderful where you can relax with a good view of the pyramids.

The plumbing needs improving, as bathrooms tend to smell. The hotel is not pet friendly.

Nothing...the hotel is very far from everything, the staff was not very helpful...

Too far from everything..eventhough you can see the pyramids from the very poor enclosure from their terrace. We put a sign of our room "DO NOT DISTURB".. We sometimes take pictures of our room and certain things we consider important in cities (places ) we think are a little bit not to our living. They enter our room and went into our staff. We mention this to the "manager " and he said that was not possible. He called in front of us the person in charge of maintenance and he said that anybody enter our room. Then we showed pictures " before and after "...and they still denied everything. The manager said they will revise their cameras ( ??? ) and he will contact me after. After 3 hours I have to confront him , and he said that a cleaning lady went into our room ( with the DO NOT ENTER ) because she wanted to give us a key for the safe box ( ???? ) , they know that we were having Lunch in the upper terrace ( if you want to call it that )...so they know at that time we were not in our room...they could come to us or wait until we return to our room. WE DO NOT RECOMEND THIS HOTEL UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE...

Nice and joyful staff working there. A very kind manager. It is a safe hotel.

Noisy hotel, especially at night -- doors are not well-fitted nor insulated (and guests slam the doors in the middle of the night). "De luxe" bathroom shower clogged and broken, a cable hanging from the balcony, obscuring the view. (maintenance is not their strong trait). Poor quality breakfast and not much to choose from (despite my request they did not manage to add anything like e.g. fresh bread, yogurt and muesli - I had to buy them in a local shop) - we stopped having hotel's breakfast after two failed attempts. Ridiculously overpriced restaurant at the roof with view on the 2 out of 3 main pyramids (the third is concealed by some dreadful structure) -- you can get much better for the same prices at the Intercontinental Hotel restaurant in the central Cairo. We wanted to stay 2 weeks there to have a base out to Cairo, we quit after 1 week. The hotel has a potential but needs some more effort to upgrade and maintain.

Breakfast need improvement

Last week i had an emergency and had to stay in Cairo for the night. I made the reservation at the first hotle found nearby. Fortunately, it was Oasis. i checked in after midnight. my wife was sick and the staff were very helpful and active as if we are in the middle of the day. the hotel is very clean and the breatfast was very good. They actually gave me exceptional support for the 24 hrs I had to stay. very good place quite near to the ring road exit. very frinedly and cooperative staff, very good value for money.

The property is beautiful, the view form the rooftop restaurant is gorgeous. All the staff are so lovely and helpful, especially Tamer, Achraf and the gentleman on the rooftop bar in the evenings. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure you are enjoying your stay, the hotel is clean and housekeeping are lovely, appreciated the freshwater everyday for no additional charges. The tours on offer at the hotel were incredible, huge recommendations for Moses and Norhan. They have incredible knowledge and make you feel so welcome, they were super helpful and provided excellent tours with a personalised experience and memories we will cherish. The hotel tour prices did not include the entry price of the attractions these were not huge additional fees but just something to bear in mind. I would absolutely come back to this hotel and would recommend to everyone, taxis are needed to get into Cairo but the hotel can arrange this and with the tours this was no concern of ours as we were able to see everything on our tours.

Very helpful staff. Clean and recently painted but overall style dated. Comfortable bed. Good view of the pyramids from the terrace restaurant. Food simple but good and plentiful.

Lots of traffic noise, particularly from 'city view ' room. Furniture rather dated. On main road with no facilities nearby. No restaurants in walking distance.
