Great service throughout Staff went above and beyond to assist us, which was much appreciated The food was great and the accommodation was very comfortable

The personnel was very friendly and warm, very kind people. The food at the restaurant was quite good, above expectations, nice drinks, relaxed atmosphere. Clean room, with an extra bed for our child. We traveled by car so the location was good for us, we didn’t mind that it’s a bit more isolated. Big parking in front of the hotel was very convenient.

The bed was pretty narrow for 2 people, it felt like 140cm, but not a big problem. No air conditioning.

The staff are excellent, very attentive and lovely. The bed is sooooo comfortable and huge! The food was delicious. The location is perfect. We did part of the steel cotton trail and then stayed there and it was great.

If i could score higher than 10 I would, we didnt want to leave!! The hospitality was second to none. Everything from arriving, the friendliness, cleanliness, views, the food. It was all just perfect. Grazie Mille for making us feel so welcome. We will definitely return 😀

The hotel is only up the hill from the centre of Hathersage, with lovely views back down the valley. The owners are so friendly; great food (loved the authentic Italian food- the tiramisu and cannoli are to die for! but English classics are on the menu too); breakfast is a treat (the fresh fruit and pastries are a lovely touch); the room met our needs with a great view.

Zero complaints. How could you — great location, great staff, great food, access to great walks (we’re walkers). What’s not to like! We’re already planning our next trip there. Excellent value for money.

Friendly staff, good location for exploring the local walks.

The shower needed a seriously good scrub. Black and orange mould which made me wonder how often they had a deep clean. Regrouting and/or re-siliconing as well as a deep clean would sort.

Staff were very helpful. Didn't use the pub but room was comfortable & clean.

It was mostly good, bathroom door was noisy.
