The best hotel I’ve ever stayed at!

This is a beautiful old building. It has a lot of charm and a lot of interesting tchotchkes. The couple seemed nice, although a couple of answers were rather brusque, not southern. (They are not from the south.) The hot breakfast was delicious and definitely added value to the stay.

The prices for these places are ridiculous! I have paid less for a hotel in Manhattan that was more roomy. I literally had a bathroom in the bedroom. You could sit on the toilet beside the bed. You could sit down on the bed to brush your teeth at the teeny tiny sink. The hotel was recently purchased by a new couple and hopefully they will be updating the property soon.

location was good

it smelled really bad of musty. horrible. the bedrooms extremely small. bathroom was even worse. your knees hit the door when sitting on the toilet.

It is very old with limited space. Would be better if we could have opened a window to air it out a bit.

The entire visit exceeded out expectations! We loved the Spa treatments, breakfast, the room, the staff and the location!!! We shall be returning again!!!
