ILLovely place with a beautiful garden.
USThe location next to the creek was magical and very close to town and very convenient! A quick walk to town makes it a great location but gets you away from crowds if you so desire. The host was very friendly and helpful. The bnb had everything you need, very well thought out and feels like you stepped into a storybook!
The mattress was too firm for my taste.
USWe really enjoyed the backyard balcony and the brook. The kitchen and dining room felt like a little museum and very sweet. It was also a short distance to town. The whole place was decorated with vintage furnishings and fixtures. Was lovely.
I roomed in a yurt near the base of a small canyon with a creek. It wasn’t great. The lavatory was in a building outside, at a distance of maybe 40 yards that involved some 15 steps up. The bath/shower in the yurt was virtually unusable because (a) it was impossible to control the mix of hot and cold water (sometimes nothing came out when I turned the Hot tap, and sometimes the only water I could get with either tap was boiling hot) and (b) there was no stopper or other means I could find to plug the drain. The office was closed in the morning, and I never met the host (only spoke by phone). On the plus side: I liked the novelty of a yurt in a scenic creek bed with gurgling water. The bed was fine (although it was piled with something like ten throw pillows). The breakfast fare in the morning was excellent, and was in a room that featured some fascinating old things.

USMy daughter pronounced Flume's End, "So stinking cute!" and her bestie in Brooklyn was ready to hop on the next westbound flight after seeing the pictures. Location is a quick walk into town across the Pine Street Bridge (but you might not want to leave the premises!). There's some highway noise, but not too bad. We loved the way we were invited to think of the inn as our own for the length of our stay. The continental breakfast was excellent, and the presentation was adorable.
This B&B has a lot of personality, so it might not be for everyone. The innkeeper was hosting a party on the premises the night we arrived, so there was no parking, but there was great acoustic music and a lot of joy, which we were invited to join. My daughter thought the bed was comfortable, but it was a little hard for my taste. The air conditioning in our room was way too much at first, but later, it was fine.
