The Lark & Loon Inn

The hosts Kevin and Lesley were very friendly, informative and very knowledgeable about the area and history of the house, which was exceptional. The house was very comfortable and the breakfast, which was homemade was delicious. We only stayed one night as we are on a road trip, but would definitely return if we were in the area. (Kevin's Nan's scones were delicious! 😉)

A small fridge would be a good addition to the room.

This is the best B and B we have stayed in after two weeks in Nova Scotia and PEI. The owners are really friendly and welcoming. You can tell that they enjoy the job. The house is beautiful, filled with antiques and artwork. There is a lot of space for guests. Parking is easy. The town centre is close. Breakfast is served at a grand table in the dining room and is excellent. It was lovely to chat with the other guests. Kevin and Lesley are a mine of local information to guide you on your way. The bedroom and bathroom have everything you might need. Coffee and tea are just outside the rooms. The bed was very comfortable but you should be mindful that it is extremely high if you have a mobility problem. But I am sure that the hosts would have a solution.

Everything. 5/5 all the way around. The hosts were super friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable about everything. The Inn was clean, beautifully & authentically decorated, and in a wonderful location. Breakfast was an event, delicious and well presented. One night stay but wish we had stayed longer!

Absolutle nothing!

Following a warm welcome we were shown around and then up to our room. This place is the best! Full of Great Art and Books, everything is thought out so well. The spacious room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. We walked into town for dinner which only took 10 minutes. Breakfast next morning was cooked fresh and was fabulous! We visited the small gallery before we left and made a few purchases as there is so much good stuff in there! Probably the best place we've stayed in the whole of Nova Scotia.

It was in a good location and easy to get around. It was lovely to walk in the beautiful neighborhood.

There was nothing NOT to like - everything was perfect and it's place.

Kevin and Leslie really go all out in making you feel welcome and at home. The place is incredible. They provided us with a bunch of history of the area as well as some great restaurant and sight seeing recommendations. Breakfast in the morning with the other guests was absolutely fabulous; they take their food seriously!

We liked everything about the property. Beautiful, comfortable room…amazing bathroom. The owners were extremely helpful and had lots of information to share. Also… we were served an exquisite breakfast.

We loved the beautiful , authentic, charming home, so much perfect detail l! Breakfasts were delicious, fresh, homemade, just wonderful! The hosts were friendly, informative and went the extra mile in every way to make our experience special.
