Great hotel clean, nice polite helpful staff

I travelled from Newcastle and stayed here for my birthday - we had only heard of the hotel on the YWP website when booking an experience. The hotel was really nice, really clean and the layout was really nice (like little pods before entering the hotel with little shops, bistros, restaurants etc made it feel like a holiday resort.) The reception was another pod, the staff were really lovely and they had a little essentials shop too which was a really nice touch for toothbrushes and other things you may have forgotten. The floor our room was on also had an ice dispensing room, where there was also a vending machine for snacks. Our room was simple but really nice, and at a good price. The only thing was the safe didn’t work, they said they couldn’t fix it within the day but did still offer to lock our belongings in their safe behind reception. We had tea in the bistro the food was really nice, breakfast was in the same place and again, it was really nice and worth the money. I will definitely visit here again and can’t recommend enough.

Fantastic trip with the family. We had booked a room with resort view and my 2 year old absolutely loved watching the animals from the bedroom windows. Super clean with everything thing that you’d need for a stay. There is a communal watering hole on each floor with vending machines, microwave, bottle warmers and an ice machine. Absolutely could t fault a thing

Great Hotel friendly staff & nice & quiet to relax

Stayed here four times now even though we live only 20 minutes drive away, and we've loved every stay. Booked over looking the resort so could see the Bush Dogs, Sea Lions and a Cheetah from our room. Peaceful at night, staff friendly, rooms clean.

We had a fantastic one night stay at the Hex Wildlife Hotel over the weekend! From the moment we arrived, the hotel felt welcoming, with friendly staff and a very family-friendly atmosphere. The rooms were well-maintained, and the family room was thoughtfully designed for comfort, featuring bunk beds that the kids absolutely loved. The hotel's peaceful ambiance and its close proximity to Yorkshire Wildlife Park made it the perfect place to unwind after an exciting day exploring the park. The kids had a great time, and the hotel offered excellent amenities to keep them entertained. The breakfast was delicious, with a good variety of options to choose from. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a family-friendly getaway. A wonderful experience — highly recommended!!!

The stay at this hotel was lovely. The room was beautiful and comfy and had a view of the wolves from the window. The cleaniness of the room was average, the shelves in the bathroom had alot of dust on them and under the bed had alot of dust but overall, the room was lovely. There was an issue with the tele in room and within 10 minutes of reporting the issue, there were 2 guys who came to fix it. A great stay.

Hotel was amazing, well worth getting balcony with park view, watching the bush dogs every morning. Clean and tidy, right on the entrance to the park with lots of shops
