New Martinsville Inn

Very dirty. Shoes stuck to bathroom floor. Springs in the mattress poked up almost through the mattress. Window wouldnt lock with screen broke. The whole place stunk.

The place is a dump!!! Front desk personal is rude - the very first thing out of their mouth when asked anything was "you booked thru Expedia - look at your reservation" The place was so bad they offered to move me to another room with a view of the back of McDonalds and Bob Evans and the parking lot - at least the room I was in had a view of the river - even though the window was dirty - I left a day earlier than I planed because I just wanted out of there - we I told them I was leaving a day early they screamed "you booked through expedia and you will be charged for the day" could not even give me a bill upon checkout because "booked through expedia"

Staff was nice. Moved our room when smoke alarm kept beeping. Beds were comfortable.

Outdated and dirty. Found dead and alive beetle/roaches. Sheets were dirty, floors were dirty. Shower leaked.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The location was convenient. The bathroom in our room was fairly clean. The river view from the room was pleasant.

Rooms needed to be cleaned more thoroughly - for example, the floors had been vacuumed in open areas, but no one had recently vacuumed between or under pieces of furniture. Everything was worn and dingy - the white towels and sheets seemed clean but were yellowed/stained and very thin. The continental breakfast was coffee and Pop Tarts. The A/C only worked when set to a temperature more appropriate for a meat locker than a hotel room; trying to raise the temperature at all shut off the A/C entirely.

Filthy and disgusting

Hotel needs alot of work, swimming doesn't work and green, needs new beds, room not very clean.

Outdated facility that needs some TLC.

Nothing unique. Hotel and property old and outdated. Pool not working.
