Lakes End Guest House

We got a lovely welcome, a nice cosy room that was very welcome with the temp dropping to 1 overnight. Breakfast was great and the owner very helpful. We were only there one night, but would happily stay longer again when visiting the area.

Hotel very close by to walk for meals. Arrived late and left for home at checkout so can't add anything else really!

A very warm welcome on arrival and also when we checked out. Property was very clean, cosy, comfortable, very accessible to all destinations around the Lakes Felt like home from home. Definitely will be returning for a stay

We had a pleasant 2-night stay at Lakes End Guest House when we were attending a wedding nearby.

We had a lovely stay at Lakes End Guest House. Frank was a great host very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast 3 of our 4 mornings.....continental...which suited our needs. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Had a lovely three night stay in the twin room. Comfortable beds, good location, clean bathroom with plenty of towels, beautiful gardens, ample parking, and a great price. Everywhere nearby was three times the price and didn't look any nicer or in fact looked less nice. Thank you Frank!

Lovely stay, great base for visiting Stott Bobbin Mill, Lakeland motor museum, Laurel and hardy Museum, Furness Abbey and a trip by steam train to Lakeside. Good breakfast - if requested - plenty of toast, coffee, cereal, fruit, yogurt and ham/cheese.

Great location, lovely accommodation.
