The Fellows House Mews

The location was great for getting to pubs, restaurants and the city centre. The house was well presented and the beds were very comfortable in good sized ensuite bedrooms.

There wasn't any cloths for washing up or any dishwasher tabs. We were a group of 6 adults and there was only 1 key which we found a bit of a joke when you are paying that much in a house where it's most likely going to be people who don't spend the whole of their time together, more keys are a must. The hot water wasn't working when we arrived but this was promptly sorted by the hotel staff.

The Fellows Mews house is perfect for my family to stay in when we return to Cambridge. Plenty of space for adults and teenagers and added benefit of the garden. So many walkable routes into the city and beyond. The hotel facilities are also enjoyable.

We enjoyed our stay here, there were 5 of us in Cambridge for a graduation. When we arrived someone came from the adjacent hotel to show us where to park and talk us through everything thing, air con etc. The house is comfortable, spacious and has pretty much everything you need, ironing boards, dishwasher tablets, washer dryer etc. Also has a patio area and balcony. The area is residential and fairly quiet. It is a pleasant walk into the city, with various options. Only a couple of tiny negatives, upstairs top room sink is slow draining, garden could do with a little weeding and patio windows need a clean…but that’s just being picky! Would live to stay here again, more relaxed than a hotel for that occasion. Thank you

Lots of space, very comfortable beds, high end decor, easy check in, good size rooms, good connections into the city with buses and taxis.

Not enough crockery for 6 people, needed cleaning more thoroughly (lots of dust on surfaces, a dirty plate and pan in the cupboards), one kitchen cupboard door was off its hinges, patio and furniture were covered in green, the upstairs balcony door was broken.

The apartment was very spacious and a bonus that each bedroom came with an en-suite bathroom. The outside space was great too for relaxing on a sunny afternoon. Great location too and ability to use hotel facilities if desired.

The kitchen lacked any hand soap, washing up liquid or dish wash tablets which I would have expected should have come as standard. Also, we found the electric lighting difficult to use and we’re not given any instructions or showed how to use this by the hotel staff.

The space

The dirty bins piled high outside the kitchen window. We asked for an early check in a few weeks before our stay, but this did not happen. Our check in time was 4, and we didn’t get to check in until 5, as it wasn’t ready.
