Cabañas Rancho Viejo

Mooie omgeving en net buiten het huisje zijn er activiteiten te beleven.

Er wordt volop gebouwd, we werden verwezen naar een huisje naast de bouwplaats. Gelukkig was er een ander huisje beschikbaar, paar meter verderop. Toch heeft dit wel onze ervaring belemmerd.

The cabin was nice and spacious, with a nice view from the deck. It was lovely to come back in the evening and light a fire. The staff did not speak English, but respond quickly via WhatsApp to provide information, arrange taxis, etc.

Our cabin (7) was above the road to this and other properties, so there was a fair bit of vehicle noise. I would ask for a cabin on the opposite side. This is a town hippies come to, so we had a hippy next door smoking pot and playing his trancey music out loud on his deck while we were trying to enjoy nature. The restaurant is nice for breakfast but very pricey. We had to ask for the cleaner to come when the room wasn’t cleaned by about 3pm.

Gorgeous location in the clouds and now with a very good new restaurant adjacent. Also if you like sunsets this is the place to be! We enjoyed the fireplace and the birds.

Our cabin was an older one and we agreed we deserved camping credit. It was cold!
