Cabañas Rancho Viejo

El enclave de las cabañas en mitad del bosque es fabuloso. La propiedad (el terreno) es fántástico y la entrada al complejo muy impresionante.

La comida del restaurante es directamente mala. Siendo lo único que está cerca es una oportunidad desaprovechada para hacer que los huéspedes se queden toda su estancia de ese lado del pueblo. La "decoración" en los senderos entre las cabañas hecha con basura es absolutamente prescindible. Se hace un poco raro que te cobren si quieres más leña. Si dos personas se duchan alternativamente lo más seguro es que la segunda termine duchándose con agua fría.

Mountain scenery, the weather, they had a little store and a fantastic restaurant. Staff was wonderful! Whoever had the vision to develop this piece of property did a first class job!!

It was in a great location, with a great spot to watch the sunset. The food in the restaurant was really good.

It was overpriced for the quality of the cabin. We stayed in early Feb and the cabana was freezing in the morning as was only heated by a log fire which went out during the night and there is no insulation or double glazing in the cabin. The bathroom is also very basic, and there was no water pressure in our shower. The toilet roll was the kind you’d expect in a school or hospital. There are a few things they could do to make it more cosy - put down cosy rugs and a bath mat, provide a heater and more wood as well as tools to move the logs, some lampshades (all the lights were naked bulbs), leave an extra blanket or provide thicker blankets, hairdryer in the room and extra plugs - there were only 2 in our cabin.

Friendly staff that were quick to help with queries. A great view point of the mountains. Comfortable bed with lots of blankets.

It was very cold and there is only single glazing in the room and the fire helped a bit but because it was windy we had to stop using it because there was too much smoke (open fire and poor quality wood). The restaurant is so overpriced and unnecessarily fancy (small portions over hearty warming meals) and is also really cold. The cabin was pretty basic considering the cost you'd expect way more amenities. Overall despite a nice viewpoint it wasn't great value.

L’emplacement au milieu de la forêt. La nourriture du restaurant les cuisiniers sont excellents. La manager est juste là pour traduire l’anglais. Les jeunes ouvrez votre affaire et arrêtez de vous faire épier par une manager chef de fortune. Apprenez l’anglais surtout😉

Le restaurant dont l’architecture est très belle sauf qu’il y fait tres froid. Le chalet rustique a proscrire, il faisait 2°. Malgré feu de cheminée le soir au réveil, impossible d’aller aux toilettes et quitter le lit à 2° température. C’est une honte de louer un chalet sans isolation. Le couverture était trempée par l’humidité au réveil. La cerise sur le gâteau c’est le personnel qui m’a amené un sèche-cheveux sous la tempête et qui a fait 200 m minimum pour venir me le porter. Les bagages idem c’est un gars qui nous les portent quand c’est des valises un peu grosse. aucune voiture électrique. Ça vaut bien la peine de se faire les grands genres quand on est même pas capable de laisser un sèche-cheveux dans un chalet ou de porter des valises. Pour le Temazcal, prenez celui situé au cœur du village chez l’habitant qui est le mieux noté. Une expérience à 2 très enrichissante. Celui de l’hôtel se fait à plusieurs personnes aucun charme. A l’hôtel il nous l’ont refusé car 2 personnes seulement c’était probablement pas intéressant pour eux.

The location was great. The cabins were really comfortable as was the bed.

We were there in winter and at night it was COLD. The second night when we asked for more firewood (they didn't leave much) it took an hour to arrive and the room was cold. Food in restaurant was OK. Food took an hour to arrive on two different nights. Staff response was that they were dealing with other tables.
