Skylight In-Terminal Hotel

Really comfortable in-terminal hotel for one night layover. Excellent restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Wonderful staff especially waiter Biruk Shiferaw and a super good omelet by Chef Addis. The best coffee in Africa did also not disappoint!

Excellent service in restaurant while waiting for my room. Kudos to Yibeltas! He welcomed me warmly, prepared my table and did everything to ensure my comfort. The food in the restaurant was of good quality and tasty with a nice variety of dishes to suit all tastes and preferences.

I had the pleasure of visiting during my trip and was truly impressed by the warm hospitality and welcoming atmosphere from the entire team. The food was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options that made it a joy to try each one. I’ll definitely be coming back soon — this experience is one I won’t forget, especially thanks to my waiter, Yibeltal, who was exceptionally helpful and always had a smile on his face. Many thanks to him and the whole team for making my visit so memorable!

We stayed here during a long layover in Addis Ababa. It was very nice and very convenient, being located within the terminal. Vendors in the terminal charge extraordinarily high prices and is not very comfortable, so it was very nice to be able to retreat to the comfort of this hotel.

It was good. The staff were very polite. Didn’t speak great English, but it was in Ethiopia.

My husband and I always check in as a couple, yet the room is always prepared for single travellers. My request is that when bookings are confirmed, plse ensure that enough water, toilet paper, tea/coffee condiments and other bedding are in the room for two adults.

An in-terminal hotel is so helpful together with really friendly and helpful staff. But over the last 2 years the quality of the hotel has deteriorated in my opinion. For example, although my husband and I always book as a couple, we always have to ask for additional towels and water. We've also noticed maintenence is not up to standard eg overflowing shower drainage, and the smell of both damp and sewage in the corridors. Airport announcements are also loud. Hopefully these are just passing problems.

I’m very disappointed as we were given hotel vouchers for myself, husband and 2 young children. The voucher included free breakfast and dinner. When we’re arrived the staff on reception said we have to pay for our breakfast and dinner $25 per person each meal ( totalling $200 ) plus we were charged $50 for an extra bed considering the fact that we had 4 vouchers that I’m assuming covered extra costs for the bed for my sons. A total of $250 I want a refund asap not a happy customer
